Preakness Saturday was Blair & Jesse's wedding day! They became Mr. & Mrs. Headley last night at The Hunt Valley Inn. The ceremony was held in the Inn's Garden Room and then guests enjoyed cocktails, yummy eats and live music before moving into the ballroom for introductions and dinner. The bridal party made their grand entrance to "Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars while Blair & Jesse entered to Rick Springfield's "Jessie's Girl" and then they went into their first dance, "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran. A memorable toast by Blair's sister and matron of honor mentioned how much Blair loves her husband's butt along with lots of love and encouragement! As folks finished dinner, Blair shared a dance with her father and step-father to Heartland's "I Loved Her First" before Jesse and his mother danced to "My Wish" [...]

Last nights celebration at The Vandiver in Havre de Grace, MD began with Jessica & Ken saying "I do" under the guidance of Reverend Simmone Marsden of Ceremony Officiants. Guests then followed the bride & groom into the Mansion House for cocktails and good eats. We introduced the bridal party and Mr. & Mrs. West into the Inn's outdoor pavilion to "Forever" by Chris Brown and then Jess & Ken danced their first official dance as newlyweds to Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud". The bride then danced with her father to James Taylor's version of "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You) before Ken danced with his Mother to "The Man You've Become" by Molly Pasutti. Friday evening around 6 pm the rain let up, the clouds broke and the sun came out just as Rebecca & Chris said "I do" at Swan Harbor Farm. Following their ceremony, the newlyweds joined their family and friends for cocktails and munchies served up by our friends from Dean and Brown Catering. Introductions of the bridal party into the reception tent to Blake Shelton's "All About Tonight" preceded Mr. & Mrs. Stone's first dance as a married couple to "Mean To Me" by Brett Eldredge. It didn't take long before guests were up and ready to party! Songs by artists like Sam Hunt, The Grateful Dead, Prince, SheDaisy and Silento were requested, played and grooved to. Just as the clouds parted and the sun broke through, Kay & Jimmy said "I do" yesterday at The Donaldson Brown Conference Center in Port Deposit, MD. This beautiful and somewhat unknown venue offers an incredible setting overlooking the Susquehanna River. After Kay & Jimmy read their vows to each other and were pronounced Husband and Wife, Laurrapin Grille Catering served up some incredible eats and guests enjoyed cocktails. We formally introduced the bridal party into the ballroom to "Let's Go Crazy" by Prince and then the bride danced with her father, the groom danced with his mother and then the new Mr. & Mrs. Dyches danced their first dance to "At Last" by Etta James. Meaghan & Corey's wedding day was as close to perfect as you could ask for! They became Mr. & Mrs. Yurek yesterday at Pond View Farm in White Hall, MD. The afternoon started with a ceremony next to the pond that was officiated by one of our new favorites, Pastor David Burk. Cocktails and good eats followed the recessional and then after some photos taken by Nicole Schantz Photography we introduced the entire bridal party into the reception to "Best Day Of My Life" by American Authors. The newlyweds danced their first dance as Mr. & Mrs. Yurek to Tim McGraw's "My Best Friend" and followed that with toasts, a blessing and an amazing buffet meal served up by the good people at Pond View Farm. Jennifer & Boyd became the new Mr. & Mrs. Elliot yesterday at the Maryland Zoo's Lakeside Pavilion and Mansion House. Their ceremony at the Lakeside Pavilion featured Disney themed music and Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" as the recessional. After that guests made their way to the Mansion House for cocktails and were greeted by the zoo's cast of animal ambassadors. We introduced Jen & Boyd into their reception to "Everything Is Awesome" by Tegan and Sara as the reception had a Lego them to it (check out the cake picture below!). A first dance to Louis Armstrong's "A Kiss To Build A Dream" followed introductions and half way through the dance, the bride's son and the groom's daughters joined the newlyweds. A parents dance and a toast by the best man preceded an outstanding buffet meal provided by our friends [...]

Congratulations to Amanda & Bryan who became Mr. & Mrs. Karnezis yesterday at Celebrations at the Bay in Pasadena, MD. A beautiful day to be near the Chesapeake Bay was perfect for an outdoor ceremony as well. Amanda & Bryan were married by Natalie Tyler of Weddings Quick and Sweet, one of our favorite officiants before enjoying a cocktail hour with great food, drinks and live music. We introduced the bride & groom into the Chesapeake Ballroom to "I Don't Want To Live On Mars" by Ziggy Marley and then toasts and an incredible meal provided by Catering by Uptown followed. Parents dances took place as dinner was wrapping up and then the newlyweds danced for their first time as Mr. & Mrs. to Bill Withers and Grover Washington's "Just The Two Of Us". This past Friday evening, Nena & Tim tied the knot at the Maryland Zoo's Mansion House & Lakeside Pavilion. An elegant ceremony that featured a live version of Etta James's "At Last" performed by a family friend and some sweet vows was followed by a cocktail hour in the Mansion House were guests were joined by the zoo's unique cast of animal ambassadors. Classic jazz and a mix of "Rat Pack" selections filled the air during cocktails and dinner. We introduced the new Mr. & Mrs. Gray into the reception to Cake's "Love You Madly" and then they danced their  traditional first dance to "L-O-V-E" by Nat King Cole. Lindsey & Nick celebrated their marriage last night at Mountain Branch Golf Club in Joppa, MD. High school sweethearts, Lindsey & Nick attended Edgewood High together and after 20 years they tied the knot! It was the first event inside Mountain Branch's beautiful new hillside tented ballroom that features an incredible view of the golf course and the surrounding rolling hills. After guests enjoyed an hour of drinks and served hors d'oeuvres we introduced the bridal party and then the newlyweds into their first dance, "Over And Over Again" by Nathan Sykes & Ariana Grande. Toasts, blessing, dinner and parents dances followed before we opened up the party with "Drink To That Tonight" by Jarrod Nieman & Pitbull. Lexi & B were married and celebrated yesterday at Linganore Winery in Mount Airy, MD. It was a beautiful, but blustery day and despite the winds Lexi & B said their vows on a lush hillside overlooking the winery's 70 acres of vineyards. Lexi's brother officiated the ceremony making it all that more special. After folks enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres we officially introduced the bridal party into the reception barn. The newlyweds danced to an acoustic version of Sam Smith's "Latch" for their first dance before the best man and maid of honor raised their glasses to toast them both. Once everyone made their way through the buffet we invited the bride and her father to the dance floor for the father/daughter dance.
