Saturday at Irish Eyes Restaurant & Pub in Lewes, DE, Jocelyn & Bob said “I do” in front of their families and friends. Their ceremony was full of love and laughter as Men in Black Officiants led them through their vows and announced them as husband and wife. Cocktails inside and out were next and then an introduction of the newlyweds into their first dance; Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me To The Moon” followed. Everyone enjoyed a buffet meal before the celebration really started with a big set of 80’s music that got guests out of their seats dancing and singing along. DJ Frank received and played requests for artists such as The Black Eyed Peas, Cupid, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Sia, Queen, AC/DC and more. Jocelyn & Bob cut their cake to The Beatles “When I’m Sixty-Four”, but other then that the afternoon/evening was simply a celebration of love, family and friendship. The Groom’s sense of humor was well known, appreciated and needed as he dedicated Sir Mix A Lot’s “Baby Got Back” to his beautiful wife just before the reception ended! Michael Buble’s version of “Save The Last Dance For Me” and The Grateful Dead’s cover of “Good Lovin'” rounded out the night musically. Thanks to the friendly staff at Irish Eyes Restaurant & Pub and to the newlyweds for their easy going, fun filled approach. We congratulate Mr. & Mrs. Lowe and wish them a lifetime of love and great tunes!
Friday evening at the Liriodendron Mansion in Bel Air, Tammy & Jeff became Mr. & Mrs. Converse! They were married outside on the back lawn of the Mansion House by Reverend Mary Powers with ceremony music by Rascal Flatts, Ryann Darling, The Piano Guys, and U2. Their recessional was followed by cocktails and appetizers inside and out and then a grand introduction of the Bride & Groom and their Bridal Party to “Marry You” by Bruno Mars and a first dance on one of the Mansion’s porticos to Van Morrison’s “Someone Like You”. Family and friends were invited to find their tables and seats before toasts, a blessing and a delicious buffet meal provided by Dean and Brown Catering. The rest of the night turned into an all out party as guests were eager to dance and requested songs by Rob Base, The Outfield, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Snap! and many more. About halfway through the celebration the Groom and his Mother danced to Louis Armstrong’s “What A Wonderful World” and then he cut the cake with his wife as DJ Frank played “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)” by James Taylor. The Mansion’s floor was literally moving up and down as guests were getting their groove on to the tunes! Friday’s festivities came to a close with couples joining Mr. & Mrs. Converse for one last dance to “Love Of A Lifetime” by Firehouse. DJ Frank loved working with Mary Ellen & Danny with Mary Ellen Otter Photography as they captured all the fun, Dean and Brown Catering, Desserts by Rita and was thrilled to be a part of Tammy & Jeff’s celebration!
Jennifer & Zach got married last night at Water’s Edge Event Center and it was wonderful! There ceremony was held outside along the water and officiated by the Bride’s Great Uncle. Cocktail hour followed the ceremony as family and friends enjoyed good eats, adult libations and music by the Zach Brown Band, Michael Jackson, Paul Simon, Marvin Gaye and more. DJ Frank formally introduced the Parents of the Bride & Groom, the Bridal Party and Mr. & Mrs. Stakowiak into the ballroom as he played Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling”. All guests were then invited to circle the dance floor as Jennifer & Zach danced to “Grow Old” by Florida Georgia Line for their first dance as a married couple. The Bride’s parents welcomed everyone and then the Maid of Honor and Best Man both offered toasts to the Bride & Groom. A fabulous served meal was next, the cake was cut and then Jennifer and her Father danced to Tim McGraw’s “My Little Girl” and Zach and his Mother danced to “There Goes My Life” by Kenny Chesney. DJ Frank enjoyed working with the great staff at Water’s Edge, Matt from Editing Life Videography, Photographer Marlayna Demond of Marlayna Photography and he enjoyed a cupcake provided by our friends from Flavor Cupcakery! Last night’s celebration featured a 10 minute apron dance of non-stop polka hits! Jennifer & Zach both danced and enjoyed a family tradition with their loved ones. Jennifer also tossed her bouquet to the ladies as Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” was played. This small, but really fun crowed danced the night away to requests by Bruno Mars, Wild Cherry, Chris Brown, Bryan Adams, Kenny Loggins, Neil Diamond and many more. The beginning of the weekend ended just before midnight with all couples joining the Stakowiaks for one last dance to “I Got Away With You” by Luke Combs. A sparkler sendoff for the newlyweds capped off a near perfect evening. Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Stakowiak!
Lauren & Adam’s wedding & reception yesterday at Pond View Farm in White Hall, MD was nothing short of amazing! Their outdoor ceremony ended with a kiss, a formal introduction as Mr. & Mrs. Peterson and with Keith Urban’s “Somebody Like You” playing as the recessional. Cocktails and appetizers were enjoyed by guests while Photographer Wes Bunton & our friends from Wise Films spent some time with the newlyweds. DJ Frank introduced Parents and Lauren & Adam into Pond View’s beautiful barn/ballroom to Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars “Uptown Funk” before playing their first dance; Russell Dickerson’s “Yours”. A welcome by the Bride’s Stepfather, a blessing, salads and a toast by the Maid Of Honor/Lauren’s Sister, Olivia preceded a buffet meal provided by Chef’s Expressions Catering. As the last few tables made their way through the buffet line, Adam’s Best Man, Austin toasted the happy couple and then Lauren danced with her Stepfather to Bruce Springsteen’s “When You Need Me”, Adam and his Mother danced to “The Perfect Fan” by Backstreet Boys followed by the Bride and her Father’s dance to “I Loved Her First” by Heartland. They were joined by about 150 guests on the dance floor when “Love Shack” by The B-52’s started and DJ Frank opened up the dancing portion of the celebration. Songs by Montell Jordan, Wild Cherry, Outkast, Elvis Presley, and multiple sets of Motown tunes kept a really fun crowd entertained throughout the evening. A cake cutting to James Taylor’s version of “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You”), a bouquet toss to “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls and a garter toss to “Sharp Dressed Man” by ZZ Top all happened as well. Before a sparkler send off and a spectacular fireworks display, family and friends joined Lauren & Adam for a slow dance to Ray LaMontagne’s “You Are The Best Thing” and finally a sing a along to “Friends In Low Places” by Garth Brooks. Last night was wonderful in so many ways, from Lauren & Adam’s fun loving and laid back approach to working with some top notch vendors, we enjoyed it all! We appreciate, congratulate and wish the new Mr. & Mrs. Peterson a life time of love and great music.
The weekend started with a grand celebration at Swan Harbor Farm! Rachel & Justin selected this wonderful venue for their wedding and reception. The evening began with a ceremony held under the Farm’s covered ballroom as the weather just wouldn’t cooperate. Regardless, it was still beautiful and the view of the Chesapeake Bay behind the newlyweds as they said their vows was priceless. Guests then enjoyed cocktails under the tent and inside the Mansion House. DJ Frank introduced the Bridal Party and Mr. & Mrs. Malehorn to Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling” shortly after that and then Rachel & Justin danced their first dance as husband & wife to “Grow Old” by Florida Georgia Line. The Bride’s Father danced with her after that to “You’ve Got A Friend” by James Taylor and Justin and his Mother danced to “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac. A buffet meal put together by Dean and Brown Catering, a welcome by Rachel’s Father and toasts by the Maid of Honor and Best Man happened after that. DJ Frank opened up the dance floor for everyone, starting with “Footloose” by Kenny Loggins and then played requests by Usher, Wilson Pickett, Bruno Mars, Rihanna & Jay Z, Young MC and many more, keeping the party jumping for the rest of the evening. Rachel’s Uncle John, a former DJ took the reigns later on and played a set of music, pumping the crowd up and working the dance floor! A cake cutting to Zac Brown Band’s “Free” gave everyone a chance to take a breather before dancing the rest of the night away. Rachel & Justin’s big day wrapped up with all guests surrounding them and singing along to “Living On A Prayer” by Bon Jovi. After the early rain moved out of the area the rest of the evening was gorgeous and a wonderful celebration took place. We thank the Swan Harbor Staff, Dean and Brown Catering, Amanda’s Florist and Mr. & Mrs. Malehorn for making last night amazing!
Saturday was all about Leanna & Lance as they were married and celebrated with their favorites on Leanna’s Grandfather’s beautiful farm in Westminster, MD. The bride arrived with her Father in his classic car and a gorgeous ceremony followed. Guests made there way to the reception tent just before the skies turned grey and the rain came. Luckily the downpour only lasted about 15 minutes and thanks to a great vendor group and some really nice guests, crisis avoided and the reception kicked off. DJ Frank introduced the Parents of the Bride to Guns N’ Roses “Welcome To The Jungle”, Parents of the Groom to “Celebrate” by Kool & The Gang, the Bridal Party entered to The Black Eyed Peas “I Gotta Feeling” and Mr. & Mrs. Middlekamp came in to “Best Day Of My Life” by American Authors. Leanna & Lance then danced their first dance to “Marry Me” by Train. A blessing and a family style meal came next along with toasts by the Maid of Honor & Best Man. The Bride & her Father danced their dance as the meal wrapped up to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw and then Lance and his Mother took the dance floor for their dance to “Rascal Flatts “My Wish”. The party really got started after that with Calvin Harris’s “Feel So Close” and then songs by Flo Rida, The Chainsmokers, V.I.C., John Denver, Hank Williams Jr. and many more kept the outdoor dance floor jumping. The newlyweds cut the cake to DNCE’s “Cake By The Ocean”, Leanna tossed her bouquet to “Single Ladies” by Beyonce then Lance removed and tossed his wife’s garter. The skies cleared and the weather was perfect for the rest of the evening and a final dance to Walk The Moon’s “Shut Up And Dance” brought everyone to the dance floor one last time. A sparkler send off topped off an amazing, fun filled party for Leanna & Lance. They became Mr. & Mrs. Casas Friday evening along the Chesapeake Bay in Havre de Grace, MD. Ashley & Anthony’s ceremony and reception were held at La Banque de Fleuve’s Seaplane Base and it was beautiful! The newlyweds spoke their vows to each other under the guidance of their officiant, Mark Patrick and then enjoyed a recessional to Stevie Wonder’s “Signed Sealed Delivered”. Guests followed and cocktails and appetizers were served by the wonderful staff of Dean and Brown Catering. The Bride & Groom were formally introduced by DJ Frank onto the venue’s waterside patio and then they danced their first as a married couple to Michelle Featherstone’s “We Are Man an Wife”. Anthony danced with his Mother after that to The Tenor’s version of “Forever Young” and then Ashely danced to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw with her Father. A garter and bouquet toss preceded a welcome/thank you speech from the Groom and then guests were invited to the dinning area for the buffet meal. A cake cutting came next and then guests enjoyed cupcakes provided by Desserts by Rita and a night of dancing. Songs requests by artists such as Lionel Richie, Enrique Iglesias, Maddie & Tae, Beyonce, Daddy Yankee, Brooks & Dunn and more filled the evening air for the remainder of the celebration. Ashley & Anthony’s big day ended with hugs, well wishes and Old Crow Medicine Show’s “Wagon Wheel”. A huge thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Casas for their easy going and laid back approach to their big day and to all the great vendors we worked with.
Sunday afternoon at Swan Harbor Farm in Aberdeen, Sarah & Lawrence became Mr. & Mrs. Fischer! They were married on the the Farm’s walk way by a close friend of the family. The ceremony included a live song performed by the Groom’s Mother that celebrated his Jewish roots and a song performed by Sarah’s Aunt celebrating her Swedish family. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails an appetizers on the Farm’s back lawn. The newlyweds were introduced into the tented ballroom and into their first dance to Walk The Moon’s “Shut Up And Dance” with guests joining them on the dance floor. Sarah and her Father danced to a medley of songs for the Father/Daughter Dance and then both the Bride & Groom along with their parents and brothers participated in the Hora as DJ Frank played “Hava Nagila”. Guest were encouraged to enjoy some pre-dinner dancing after that and despite the 100 degree weather, they were grooving! Sarah’s Swedish Grandfather, Peder acted as the toast master and shared some heartwarming stories and invited family members to do the same. A buffet meal by our friends from Dean and Brown Catering, a Mother/Son dance to “A Song For Mama” by Boyz II Men and Sarah’s bouquet toss to “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper followed. Songs by ABBA, Sia, Diana Ross, Icona Pop, Britney Spears and more brought folks to the dance floor. A wonderful evening along the Chesapeake Bay came to end with fireworks and a last song; Billy Joel’s “Piano Man”. Such a nice group of people and a lovely couple! Rolling Road Golf Club in Catonsville, MD was the setting for Caitlin & Sam’s wedding reception last night and it was great celebration! The evening started with cocktails and appetizers and was followed by introductions of the Bridal Party. DJ Frank played Kool & The Gang’s “Celebration” as everyone was announced and “When I Said I Do” by Clint Black & Lisa Hartman Black for Mr. & Mrs. Sica’s first dance. A blessing and salads preceded a welcome by Caitlin’s Father and toasts by the Maid Of Honor and Best Man. Dinner music consisted of songs by Huey Lewis & The News, The Temptations, Darius Rucker, Old Dominion and more. As the meal wrapped up, Sam and his Mother danced to “Seems Like Yesterday” by Melissa Smith and then we celebrated Caitlin’s Father’s Birthday with a special cake. The Bride and her Father followed that with a dance to Lee Ann Womack’s “I Hope You Dance”. The party kicked off with Wild Cherry’s “Play That Funky Music” and continued with songs by Earth, Wind and Fire, Sister Sledge, Kanye West, Flo Rida, Wilson Pickett and more. An Anniversary Dance to Frank Sinatra’s “The Best Is Yet To Come” and Rod Stewart’s version of “Have I Told You Lately” provided a nice intermission for the party crowd who kept the party rocking all night long. A wonderful evening filled with love and great energy came to end as everyone gathered around the newlyweds for a sing a long to the Foundations “Build Me Up Buttercup”. Saturday was a day to celebrate for Danielle & Brad! That celebration happened at the Vineyard at Mary’s Meadows in Darlington, MD. While they had already tied the knot months ago, their belated party was worth the wait. The evening began with cocktails in the Vineyard’s lower barn area and games on the back lawn. Later, guests were invited to find their seats upstairs by DJ Frank for introductions of the Bridal Party. He introduced Danielle & Brad’s Parents, Bridesmaids and Groomsmen to Ja Rule’s “Put It On Me” and Mr. & Mrs. Mohr to “Have Faith In Me” by A Day To Remember. A first dance to Julia Sheer’s “I’m Still Into You” followed with the Bridal Party and their significant others joining the Bride & Groom on the dance floor. Toasts by Danielle’s girls came next and then then Brad’s guys sang a toast to an instrumental version of Snoop Dogg’s “Gin And Juice”! The nice people from Our Meat Your Face BBQ brought their food truck along and served up a unique and yummy meal after that. The brisket and baked beans were outstanding! The Bride danced with her Father to “Wild World” by Cat Stevens and Brad and his Mother danced to “Sweet Baby James” by James Taylor as the last few tables sat down for dinner. DJ Frank invited everyone back down to the lower barn for the party and dancing. Good vibes, drinks served up by Bartenders Josh & Josh and fun requests for songs by The Gap Band, Weezer, Warren G, Avicii, Old Crow Medicine Show and more made for a wonderful night for Danielle & Brad. The last song of the night was a sing a long to The Outfield’s “Your Love”. Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Mohr!
