Yesterday was a beautiful day and it was Emily & Matt’s big day! Their wedding and reception was held at Lloyd’s Legacy Farm in White Hall, MD. The afternoon began with a ceremony along side the Farm’s pond. After the recessional, guests made their way to the Farm’s barn for the reception and cocktails. The newlyweds and their Bridal Party were formally introduced in to the barn by DJ Frank to ZZ Top’s “Sharp Dressed Man” and then the new Mr. & Mrs. Smith danced their first official dance as a married couple to “Grave” by Thomas Rhett. Emily and her Father then danced to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw and after that Matt and his Mom danced to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts. A blessing and a delicious buffet meal provided by our friends from Mission BBQ came next. A big set of dancing opened up the party as songs by Nelly, The Charlie Daniels Band, Grand Funk Railroad, Don Omar, Pitbull and many more were requested, played and grooved to. A cake cutting/smash was the half time show as Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar” was playing in the background and a bouquet toss to David Guetta’s “Where Them Girls At” and a garter removal/toss to “Pony” by Ginuwine closed out the evenings formal events. The celebration continued late into the evening with a really fun group of the Bride & Groom’s family and friends. The last song of the night was Justin Moore’s “Til My Last Day” and this brought everyone to the dance floor and was a great way to end a wonderful day filled with love, family, friends and good tunes. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Smith!
