The weather was perfect, the setting was classy yet relaxed and you could feel the love! Last night at Grey Rock Mansion in Catonsville, Kaelyn & Kristofer sealed it with kiss as they were married outside in the Mansion’s courtyard and then partied with their families and friends afterward. The celebration began with a processional to Chris Brown’s “Forever” and continued inside the Mansion during cocktail hour. The newlyweds were introduced in to the ballroom by DJ Frank and danced to “Tenerife” by Ed Sheeran for their first dance as Mr. & Mrs. Wilson. Toasts by Kris’s Best Man and Kaelyn’s Sisters preceded a wonderful meal set up in various stations throughout the venue by the nice folks with Simply Elegant Catering. This kept people up and moving and set the tone for a really fun and upbeat dinner service with music that reflected that vibe. The Bride surprised her Mother with a dance to The Eagles “Hotel California” and that was followed by Kris and his Mother’s dance to Rod Stewart’s version of “Have I Told You Lately”. Guests then joined Kaelyn & Kris as they cut the cake to Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake” and then the celebration really began. The dance floor was full, animated and fun the entire evening and our good friend James Berglie of Be Photography was there to capture it all. DJ Frank spun requests for songs by Drake, Fetty Wap, ABBA, Bruno Mars, Kevin Lyttle, Sia and more. The newlyweds and many of their closest friends are all graduates of West Virginia University so naturally John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” needed to be played and leading in to the last song was just about the perfect time as everyone circled around the Bride & Groom, singing along to the country classic. Before heading out for their after party, Mr. & Mrs. Wilson and the remaining guests danced to “Until The Sunrise” by Timeflies. So much love and such a great party! We were honored to have been asked to play for Kaelyn & Kris’s big day and we wish them all the best!
