Melissa & Mitch became Mr. & Mrs. Cohen last night at the Mansion at Valley Country Club in Baltimore, MD. The Country Club is owned and operated by the Donovan Family (late Baltimore Colt great Art Donovan‘s family) and is a wonderful classic venue for any event. Mr. & Mrs. Cohen’s wedding + reception was classy, fun and full of good vibes. Officiant Sandy Queen of Weddings by Sandy led, Melissa & Mitch through their vows and after saying “I do” the celebration started. The newlyweds enjoy music from the 40’s & 50’s era, big band, crooners, classics, etc.. We catered the music accordingly for the cocktail hour and set the tone. Of course the Charlie Chaplin impersonator who walked through the crowd and silently entertained folks sure helped in creating that mood! We introduced Mr. & Mrs. Cohen into the reception area to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” by Stevie Wonder and then they danced to the remaining part of that song as it was also their first dance. A toast, a blessing and an incredible meal were next and then…they danced. Music from artists such as Dion, The Jackson 5, The Beatles, The Kinks and more filled the air as guests filled the dance floor. We worked along with Sherece Fullerton of Sincerely Rece Event Planning and collectively we made Melissa & Mitch’s vision a reality. Van Morrison’s “Crazy Love” brought all couples to the dance floor for one last dance and a great send off for Mr. & Mrs. Cohen. Congrats to two lovely people!
