This past Friday evening, Nena & Tim tied the knot at the Maryland Zoo’s Mansion House & Lakeside Pavilion. An elegant ceremony that featured a live version of Etta James’s “At Last” performed by a family friend and some sweet vows was followed by a cocktail hour in the Mansion House were guests were joined by the zoo’s unique cast of animal ambassadors. Classic jazz and a mix of “Rat Pack” selections filled the air during cocktails and dinner. We introduced the new Mr. & Mrs. Gray into the reception to Cake’s “Love You Madly” and then they danced their  traditional first dance to “L-O-V-E” by Nat King Cole. Hunt Valley Catering wined and dined guests, helping us to fuel the celebration! The party truly started after dinner as the bride and her father hit the dance floor to “My Girl” by The Temptations. A surprise to everyone, Nena’s father cued us about 1 minute into the song and we made a quick segue into “Get Up (I Feel Like Being A Sex Machine)” by James Brown and invited all guests to join in! A fun night of dancing followed with everyone grooving to songs by Marc Anthony, Michael Jackson, Heavy D, Bell Biv Devo, Digital Underground and more. Nena & Tim’s first day as a married couple was just about perfect and ended musically with a last dance to “Last Dance” by Donna Summer. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Gray!
