The weekend started with a grand celebration at Swan Harbor Farm! Rachel & Justin selected this wonderful venue for their wedding and reception. The evening began with a ceremony held under the Farm’s covered ballroom as the weather just wouldn’t cooperate. Regardless, it was still beautiful and the view of the Chesapeake Bay behind the newlyweds as they said their vows was priceless. Guests then enjoyed cocktails under the tent and inside the Mansion House. DJ Frank introduced the Bridal Party and Mr. & Mrs. Malehorn to Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling” shortly after that and then Rachel & Justin danced their first dance as husband & wife to “Grow Old” by Florida Georgia Line. The Bride’s Father danced with her after that to “You’ve Got A Friend” by James Taylor and Justin and his Mother danced to “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac. A buffet meal put together by Dean and Brown Catering, a welcome by Rachel’s Father and toasts by the Maid of Honor and Best Man happened after that. DJ Frank opened up the dance floor for everyone, starting with “Footloose” by Kenny Loggins and then played requests by Usher, Wilson Pickett, Bruno Mars, Rihanna & Jay Z, Young MC and many more, keeping the party jumping for the rest of the evening. Rachel’s Uncle John, a former DJ took the reigns later on and played a set of music, pumping the crowd up and working the dance floor! A cake cutting to Zac Brown Band’s “Free” gave everyone a chance to take a breather before dancing the rest of the night away. Rachel & Justin’s big day wrapped up with all guests surrounding them and singing along to “Living On A Prayer” by Bon Jovi. After the early rain moved out of the area the rest of the evening was gorgeous and a wonderful celebration took place. We thank the Swan Harbor Staff, Dean and Brown Catering, Amanda’s Florist and Mr. & Mrs. Malehorn for making last night amazing!
