We absolutely loved playing for Rebecca & Justin and their family and friends last night at the Vandiver Inn located in Havre de Grace, MD! A beautiful ceremony was followed by drinks and good eats during cocktail hour. After we introduced Mr. & Mrs. Matoska and their Bridal Party into the reception, they danced their first dance to Frank Sinatra’s “The Best Is Yet To Come”. Parents dances and toasts preceded an amazing buffet meal and before we knew it guests were up and grooving. We opened up the dancing portion of the evening with “I Love You More Today Then Yesterday” by Spiral Staircase. Lots of classic songs kept folks of all ages dancing all night long. Songs by Chuck Berry, Kool & The Gang, The Bee Gees, A Taste Of Honey, Toto and more filled the air. One of the most fun moments of the evening happened when a gentleman know as “Big Daddy” took the microphone (per the Bride & Groom’s request and OK) and worked the room singing along to Clarence Carter’s “Strokin”! Thanks to Amanda’s Florist, Desserts by Rita and as always the entire Vandiver staff for adding their skills to make last night great. Just before heading out to the Laurrapin Grille for their after party, guests joined the newlyweds for one last song, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You”. Rebecca & Justin were so much fun to work with from our first meeting through their last dance and we are so happy to have been a part of their big day!
