You could feel the energy in the air last night! Jennifer & Carl became a married couple at The Maryland Zoo's Mansion House and 80+ family and friends gathered with them to celebrate. A ceremony that featured live music and some of the sweetest wedding vows we've ever heard preceded the party. Cocktail hour featured members of the Zoo's family of fury friends dropping in, drinks, good eats (provided by Innovative Gourmet Catering) and some pretty cool tunes that were carefully selected by the Bride & Groom. The reception continued as we introduced Jennifer & Carl to the dance floor for their first dance, Al Green's "Let's Stay Together". The 2016 wedding season continued last night as Kyra & Alex became husband and wife at the Maryland Zoo's Mansion House. Their ceremony featured readings from the bride & groom's siblings and friends as well as a live musical performance. The newlyweds are world travelers and their music selections reflected that with a mix of classic Brazilian and traditional jazz for cocktails and dinner. The good people from The Pantry Catering wined and dined everyone while the Zoo's staff introduced them to some amazing creatures. Some advice and words of wisdom from Alex's father preceded the meal and then Kyra & Alex danced to Marc Anthony's "Vivir Mi Vida". The 2016 Wedding Season officially started last night! Summer & Michael were married and celebrated with their friends and family at The Antrim 1844 Country House Hotel in Taneytown, MD and it was amazing! Mr. & Mrs. Kim said "I do" in the ballroom and then an incredible meal and celebration followed. Summer & Michael's first dance as husband and wife was to "Take My Hand (The Wedding Song)" by Emily Hackett and Will Anderson. The Antrim's staff was top-notch (as always) and we enjoyed working with Justin of Justin Kunimoto Photography. More then anything we loved playing for such a receptive and fun group of guests! Congratulations to Jeanna & Brian Hanley! We were honored to be a part of their big day at Bulle Rock Resident's Club yesterday in Havre de Grace, MD. They became Mr. & Mrs. Hanley as they were led through their vows by their friend Mark Patrick. We loved working with Dean and Brown Catering again as they worked diligently to transform the Resident's Club into a beautiful reception area while guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. We introduced the parents of the Bride & Groom and of course Mr. & Mrs. Hanley into the reception to "It Had To Be You" by Harry Connick Jr. and then Jeanna & Brian danced their first dance to "Giving It All (To You)" by Hailey & Michaels. We absolutely loved playing for Rebecca & Justin and their family and friends last night at the Vandiver Inn located in Havre de Grace, MD! A beautiful ceremony was followed by drinks and good eats during cocktail hour. After we introduced Mr. & Mrs. Matoska and their Bridal Party into the reception, they danced their first dance to Frank Sinatra's "The Best Is Yet To Come". Parents dances and toasts preceded an amazing buffet meal and before we knew it guests were up and grooving. Last night at the Water's Edge Event Center in Belcamp, MD Ashley & Kevin celebrated their marriage with a grand party/reception! It was our first time playing at this beautiful venue and they knocked it out of the park! We loved working with everyone there from the coordinator to the wait staff. Guests arrived to a cocktail hour and not long after we introduced the bridal party into the reception area. The Bridal Party entered to Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars's "Uptown Funk" and the Bride & Groom made their first appearance as husband & wife to Tool's "Sober". The new Mr. & Mrs. Thomas then danced for their first time as a married couple to Extreme's "More Than Words". Our first wedding of 2016 was so much fun! Catherine & Jon became husband & wife and celebrated their union at the Vandiver Inn located on Main Street in historic Havre de Grace, MD last night. Catherine & Jon were led through their vows by Officiant Kiko Garcia of Have Love Weddings. After saying "I do" the bride & groom led their family and friends into the Vandiver Mansion for cocktails. We introduced the entire bridal party into the reception to Stevie Wonder's "Signed Sealed Delivered". The bride & groom then danced their first dance to Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling In Love".  A blessing and toasts preceded an amazing meal and then Catherine danced with her father and Jon with his Mother. Last night's celebration for Jess & Ken in Havre de Grace, MD was great! The Vandiver Inn, one of our favorite venues was the setting for Jess & Ken's ceremony and reception. Officiant Kiko Garcia of Have Love Weddings led the newlyweds through their vows and after they said "I do" they led their guests inside the Vandiver Mansion for cocktail hour. During this time the Vandiver's outdoor pavilion was turned into an amazing reception spot and after the transformation we introduced the Bride & Groom into their first dance; "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran. The Vandiver has an incredible reputation and their food is top notch. Chef Susan outdid herself once again and provided a meal that Jess & Ken's guests will be talking about for years to come. Last night at the Maryland Zoo's Mansion House Katie & Kyle got married and celebrated with a reception for their family and friends. The evening got under way at 5 pm with the ceremony and that was followed by a cocktail hour. As usual at the Zoo, some furry resident friends stopped by to say "hi" and wish the newlyweds lots of love. Instead of a grand entrance, Katie & Kyle chose to toast their guests and thank them. A family style meal was provided by the Pantry Catering and then Mr. & Mrs. Moreau danced their first dance to "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" by Meghan Trainor & John Legend. Friday night at The Grand in downtown Baltimore City just a few blocks north of the bustling inner harbor, Marlene & Larry celebrated their nuptials with their families and friends. Guests enjoyed cocktails prior to us introducing the Bridal Party. The newlyweds danced to Paul Stookey's "Wedding Song (There Is Love)" for their first dance as Mr. & Mrs. Hartman. We loved working with Stephanie Day Events as she helped us keep the night moving along and made sure each and every detail was perfect.
