Olivia & Joe’s wedding + reception at The Grand Historic Venue

Olivia & Joe became Mr. & Mrs. Stevens last night at the Grand Historic Venue in Baltimore. I worked along side Photographers Bill & Robin Rettberg and watched a magical night unfold. The reception started off with the newlyweds celebrating The Baltimore Ravens and entering to Nelly's "Hot In Here" with the groom doing his best Ray Lewis "Squirrel Dance"! Olivia & Joe danced their first dance as husband and wife to "My My Love" by Joshua Radin and the party music through the night ranged from Motown hits to 2 Pac! There was a limbo contest and a dance off at one point...just and all around great party. One Republic's "Good Life" was the last song of the night and a great way to end a super fun celebration. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Stevens!

Gina & Jeff’s reception at The Mansion at Valley Country Club

Kept it in the family last night. I was the DJ/MC for Gina & Jeff Rucci's reception at The Mansion at Valley Country Club. 2 years ago I had the opportunity to DJ Gina's sister's wedding so lots of fun, familiar faces at last night's celebration. I worked along side the Valley Mansion's fabulous staff and Photographer Kyle Bergner as we gave it are all to make Gina & Jeff's big day perfect. Mr. & Mrs. Rucci along with their bridal party made their grand entrance to "Summer" by Calvin Harris and then the newlyweds danced their first dance as a married couple to Adelle's version of "Make You Feel My Love". Top 40 hits, mixed with some really fun classics kept folks grooving all night. We ended the evening with Michael Bublé's cover of "Save The Last Dance For Me". [...]

Sharon & Mike’s wedding + reception at Swan Harbor Farm

Yesterday was a picture perfect day at Swan Harbor Farm in Aberdeen for Sharon and Mike's wedding and reception. I had the chance to work with Dean and Brown Catering and Jax Photography again and this team made sure the newlyweds had a stress free, super fun wedding day. Following the ceremony and cocktails, the new Mr. and Mrs. Federman opened the reception dancing to "At Last" by Etta James. This crowd of 120 partied like it was a Saturday night grooving to a mix of songs from many different genres. The bride and groom were joined by all couples on the dance floor as we ended the night with Train's "Marry Me". After the reception Sharon and Mike totally surprised me with a gift of 4 Jerry Garcia ties! Such a thoughtful gift and awesome couple!

Andrea & John’s weddng + reception at Swan Harbor Farm

Andrea & John became Mr. & Mrs. Tully last night at Swan Harbor Farm in Aberdeen. Unfortunately, the newlyweds had to say their "I do's" under the tent as the rain moved through.  As I started their recessional song,  The Beatles "Good Day Sunshine",  the skies opened up and Andrea & John were able to make their way back down the aisle in the sunshine. Dean and Brown Catering served up hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, followed by a surf and turf meal, while Event Planner Aubrey Canale of Simply Created Events kept the night moving right along. Mr. & Mrs. Tully danced their first dance as a married couple to Ray Lamontagne's "You Are The Best Thing". This 6 hour wedding/reception flew by as a party crowd of about 100 people kept the dance floor packed all night. Motown, Funk, Classic Rock and Top 40 [...]

Ellen & Michael’s wedding reception at The Mansion at Valley Country Club

Saturday night's wedding reception at The Mansion at Valley Country Club in Baltimore was so much fun! Ellen & Mike celebrated becoming Mr. & Mrs. York with their friends and family and asked me to be their DJ/MC. The newlyweds along with their parents and bridal party were formally introduced into the reception by yours truly while I played Imagine Dragon's "On Top Of The World". Mr & Mrs. York danced their first dance as a married couple to a song called "Warm" by The Coronas. The family run staff at The Mansion served up a delicious meal while Art Donovan Jr. served up drinks in his late father's amazing sports bar filled with classic Baltimore Colts memorabilia. Guests at this wedding danced to everything from hip hop to swing to classic rock. They came to celebrate and what a party [...]

Jenna & Craig’s wedding & reception at Swan Harbor Farm

Friday night was a hot one at Swan Harbor Farm in Aberdeen for Jenna & Craig's big night. Luckily, the breeze off the bay kept the guests cool for the ceremony and reception while Dean and Brown Catering wined and dined them. Mr. & Mrs. Connors danced their first dance as a married couple to "I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz. For a warm September at Swan Harbor I worried that people wouldn't be prone to dance however, these guests proved me wrong. They danced ALL night to a mix of party music from many different genres. A great party wrapped up with Jenna & Craig front and center on the dance floor with their entire bridal party along with 99% of the guests surrounding them to sing and dance to Sugarland's "Stuck Like Glue". Photographer Bill Rettberg captured all [...]

Jen & Jason’s wedding & reception at The Liriodendron Mansion

Last night's wedding was so much fun! Jennifer & Jason became Mr. & Mrs. Boye at The Liriodendron Mansion in Bel Air. The rain wasn't an issue as guests gathered on the portico for the ceremony and Officiant Heather Saul did an amazing job as always leading the bride and groom through the ceremony. Dean and Brown Catering out did themselves with an awesome spread of hors d'oeuvres and a meal that was top notch while Photographer Nicholas Griner captured all the memories. After dinner Jen & Jason danced their first dance as a married couple to one of my favorites, "You & Me" by Dave Matthews Band. Musically the night was filled with requests for lots of 90's hip hop and R&B mixed with today's latest hits. We wrapped up an amazing party with The Wanted's "Glad You Came". Thanks Jen [...]

Laurel & Matt’s wedding & reception at Mountain Branch Golf Club

Laurel & Matt's wedding and reception was my first ever event at Mountain Branch Golf Club in Joppa and it was an amazing experience. This venue is beautiful and the staff is top notch and super friendly! The new Mr. & Mrs. Psczolka danced their first dance as husband and wife to Staind's "Tangled up in you" followed by dinner and dancing. Lot's of requests from the crowd for some fun 90's hip hop as well as hits by today's Top 40 artists and just a touch of modern country kept the dance floor hopping. Ricky Chung Photography captured the fun as we ended with the entire bridal party and the guests that came to party  grooving to Chris Brown's "Forever". Laurel, the bride came up to me as the last song ended and told me that this was "the best [...]

Lisa & Doug’s wedding & reception at The American Visionary Art Museum

I had the privilege of being the DJ/MC for Mr. & Mrs. League's wedding and reception at The American Visionary Art Museum in downtown Baltimore on Friday night. Doug & Lisa were married by officiant Heather Saul inside the AVAM and then we moved over to the venue's sculpture barn and garden for cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and dinner provided by Rouge Catering. Doug & Lisa were introduced into their first dance, Chris Isaak's "Can't help falling in love", a great cover of the Elvis classic. The bride and groom along with their family and friends danced ALL night to a mix of classics and Top 40 hits and ended the night with all couples dancing to The Plain White T's "1,2,3,4". Fun Friday Wedding!

Ashley & Adam’s reception at Top of the Bay

Ashley & Adam became Mr. & Mrs. Downs last night and celebrated with their friends and family with a party/reception at Top of the Bay in Aberdeen. The evening began with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on the upper veranda that features one of the best waterfront views of any venue in the area. Ashley & Adam had some fun with their bridal party introductions as I played Right Said Fred's "I'm too sexy" while introducing their family and closet friends. A first dance to Ingrid Michaelson's cover of "I can't help falling in love" followed. Classic 50's & 60's love songs filled the air during dinner and then a mix of Top 40, classic Hip Hop and Funk had their guests packing the dance floor all night. Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" was the newlyweds choice for the final song of the night [...]
