Loni & Dharam’s wedding & reception at The Maryland Zoo’s Mansion House

Loni & Dharam became Mr. & Mrs. Bhatt last night at The Maryland Zoo's Mansion House. They actually tied the knot at the Zoo's Lakeside Pavilion and then led their guests over to the Mansion House for the reception. Rouge Catering kept everyone's tastes buds happy and treated this DJ like a guest while Photographer Laura Hagood worked along side of me capturing all the memories. The bride and groom danced their first dance together as husband and wife to Maxwell's "Fortunate". An all out dance party followed with old school hip hop and Top 40/club tunes on the musical menu. Our last song was "The Time (Dirty Bit)" by The Black Eyed Peas and guests of all ages joined Mr. & Mrs. Bhatt on the dance floor to sing and get their groove on. Good vibes all night long!

Maura & Adam’s wedding & reception at Hunt Valley Golf Club

Squeezed in between the rain showers, Maura & Adam tied the knot and then partied with their friends and family last night at Hunt Valley Golf Club. Maura's Uncle married the bride and groom in a very touching ceremony and then the guests were wined and dined as the sounds of the Rat Pack filled the air. I had the opportunity again to team up with Photographer James Berglie of Be Photography as he captured all the fun. Mr. & Mrs. Adams danced their first dance as newlyweds to Frank Sinatra's "It had to be you" and sang along with their friends to Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" as we wrapped up an awesome wedding.

Holly & Tyler’s reception at the Liriodendron Mansion

Holly & Tyler Phass celebrated their marriage last night at the Liriodendron Mansion in Bel Air, MD and for a July wedding you couldn't have had better weather. Mr. & Mrs. Phass as well as their guests were wined and dined by Dean and Brown Catering and entertained by yours truly while Photographer Tyler Rieth captured all the fun. The newlyweds selected some truly unique music for their big day dancing their first dance as husband and wife to a piece called "Andantino". Ballroom music and classic 50's and 60's songs filled the air and kept guests of all ages on the dance floor, a refreshing change from the usual Top 40 hit parade. Congratulations to Holly & Tyler!

Jennifer & Josh’s wedding & reception at The Chesapeake City Inn Ballroom

Mr. & Mrs. Merlob made their vows in front of their closet friends and family members yesterday in Chesapeake City, MD. Taking the stage in the Chesapeake Inn's Pell Garden, Jen & Josh's ceremony was short, sweet and completely awesome. After shouting "Mazel tov" the bride & groom's guests followed the newly wedded couple on a short walk over to the Chesapeake City Inn's Ballroom for drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Mr. & Mrs. Merlob and their bridal party were introduced into the reception and went straight into their first dance to "All I Want Is You" by Berry Louis Polisar. When guests weren't enjoying the beautiful water's edge view they danced to Motown, Top 40 and and bunch of great 90's tunes. The Merlob's and their bridal party ended the evening on the dance floor singing along to Eve 6's "Here's To [...]

Megan & Ryan’s wedding & reception at The MD Zoo’s Mansion House

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Cleaver! Meg & Ryan became the Cleavers last night in Baltimore, MD. They did it in style at one of the more unique venues in the area, The MD Zoo. With Officiant Heather Saul guiding them through the ceremony Meg & Ryan said their "I do's" in front of their closet friends and family members at the Lakeside Pavilion and then headed up to the Mansion House where they were greeted by two of the Zoo's animal ambassadors, a penguin and a raven. After being introduced into their reception to "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns N' Roses, the bride and groom welcomed everyone and then settled in for dinner. Following the meal Meg & Ryan danced their first dance as a married couple to Ben E. King's "Stand By Me". Motown, classic rock and a [...]

Melissa & Bruce’s reception at The Cloisters Castle

Yesterday evening I was at the The Cloisters Castle in Lutherville, MD for Melissa & Bruce's wedding reception. This beautiful venue was the perfect location for the newlyweds...casual, relaxed and fun just like the bride and groom. I had the pleasure of working with Zeffert and Gold Catering, one the area's finest as well as Butch & Carrie Linton of Linton Photography...a great team of vendors! Mr. & Mrs. St. Clair opened up the dancing just after the bridal party introductions to "I won't give up" by Jason Mraz and then the bride and her father opening up the party dancing to Pharrell Williams's "Happy" followed by nearly every guest joining in. For an early wedding that ended at 8 pm, these folks partied like it was going on midnight! A first for me, the fire alarm went off just before the last [...]

Samantha & Mike’s wedding & reception at Hunt Valley Golf Club

Sam & Mike's wedding and reception last night turned into quite the shindig! They became Mr. & Mrs. Maile in front of their friends and family on the patio of Hunt Valley Golf Club in Phoenix, MD and then the staff turned the same space into a fun and festive area for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Guests were invited into the ballroom and I introduced the bridal party and then the bride and groom into their first dance. Sam & Mike danced to Zac Brown Band's "Whatever it is". Before dinner was even over guests were dancing to a set of Motown tunes! They came to party and they didn't stop until midnight. I got the crowd to circle up on the dance floor around Mr. & Mrs. Maile for their last song request and everyone sang at the top of their lungs [...]

Dana & Aaron’s wedding & reception at Brittland Manor

Last night was incredible! From the officiant to the caterer to the last dance, everything was just about perfect. Dana & Aaron held their ceremony and reception at Brittland Manor in Chestertown, MD and in my 20+ years in the wedding industry I can't say I've been to a more beautiful venue or a better party. After the ceremony Eleven Courses Catering wined and dined the guests with an amazing meal. The food and quality of service was so good I had to add them to my favorite vendors list! Photographer Natalie Franke and her team captured every second of the evening and were great to work with. The newlyweds, Mr. & Mrs. Frederick danced their first dance as husband and wife to "Hold on" by Michael Bublé and ended the night with all the couples joining them on the dance floor [...]

Joanne & Julie’s wedding & reception at The MD Zoo’s Mansion House

Two amazing ladies got married yesterday and I'm so happy they chose me as their DJ/MC. The MD Zoo was a unique and beautiful setting for these two to say "I do" and celebrate with their friends and family. The evening started at the Lakeside Pavilion with Joanne & Julie exchanging some of the most powerful and sincere vows I've ever heard. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the Mansion House followed the ceremony. The ladies danced their first dance to Mary Lambert's "She keeps me warm" and then sat down to a three course meal provided by RSVP Catering. I think they probably invited everyone they knew and nobody declined because the Mansion House was filled to capacity! They invited some fun people as they danced non-stop. The night closed with everyone dancing and singing along to Donna Summer's "Last dance". [...]
