I wrapped up an awesome Memorial Day/Wedding Weekend in Havre de Grace last night with Allison & Michael's wedding and reception at the beautiful Vandiver Inn. Mr. & Mrs. Walsh exchanged vows and then celebrated with their friends and family. The bride and groom are both big-time music fans and I loved working with them to create an original and unique blend of tunes for their cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. Their playlist ranged from G. Love & Special Sauce to John Lee Hooker to Stevie Wonder. Their first dance as husband and wife was Otis Redding's "These arms of mine" and they ended their Sunday wedding with "A Sunday kind of love" by Etta James...perfect! The celebration wrapped up with a sparkler send off and an after party in downtown Havre de Grace.

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Halligan. Last nights wedding reception at Bulle Rock was a full on party! Allison & Tim picked some awesome music for their cocktail hour (Foo Fighters, Johnny Cash and Coldplay just to name a few) and then gave me free reign musically to get their friends and family jumpin' on the dance floor...and they did! Great party, great crowd, such good energy!

Last night Rachel & Joel held their ceremony and reception at the Vandiver Inn in Havre de Grace. I provided the music for both and they kept it short and sweet. I’d say their “I do’s” lasted 3 minutes if that! These folks wanted to get hitched and party and they did! I received a call from the coordinator at the Vandiver Thursday night telling me that the bride had been involved in a car accident just after leaving the wedding rehearsal. For a few hours everyone was on pins and needles. Luckily she’s a tough cookie and was just fine and danced the entire evening. They invited such a fun group of people filled with positive energy and I fed off that all night. Good vibes!

Yesterday at Swan Harbor Farm in Havre de Grace, Lindsay & Matt had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and reception. I was lucky enough to work with Dean & Brown Catering for the second time in one weekend as they provided a delicious meal as always for the guests. The bride and groom danced for their first time as husband and wife to Kip Moore's "Pretty Girl" and then the party followed. Their friends and family danced like it was Saturday night! What a great way to wrap up a awesome wedding weekend.

Katie & Rob became Mr. & Mrs. Dickson yesterday and then threw an amazing reception at Rockfield Manor in Bel Air, MD. They started in the barn behind Rockfield with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres and then headed up to the main house for dinner and dancing. Katie & Rob danced their first dance as husband and wife to "Feels Like Home" by Chantal Kreviazuk and then guests of all ages filled the dance floor and an awesome party followed. Pairings Bistro provided a top-notch meal for everyone. What a great evening!
