Maryland Wedding DJ

Jennifer & Boyd became the new Mr. & Mrs. Elliot yesterday at the Maryland Zoo's Lakeside Pavilion and Mansion House. Their ceremony at the Lakeside Pavilion featured Disney themed music and Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" as the recessional. After that guests made their way to the Mansion House for cocktails and were greeted by the zoo's cast of animal ambassadors. We introduced Jen & Boyd into their reception to "Everything Is Awesome" by Tegan and Sara as the reception had a Lego them to it (check out the cake picture below!). A first dance to Louis Armstrong's "A Kiss To Build A Dream" followed introductions and half way through the dance, the bride's son and the groom's daughters joined the newlyweds. A parents dance and a toast by the best man preceded an outstanding buffet meal provided by our friends [...]

Congratulations to Amanda & Bryan who became Mr. & Mrs. Karnezis yesterday at Celebrations at the Bay in Pasadena, MD. A beautiful day to be near the Chesapeake Bay was perfect for an outdoor ceremony as well. Amanda & Bryan were married by Natalie Tyler of Weddings Quick and Sweet, one of our favorite officiants before enjoying a cocktail hour with great food, drinks and live music. We introduced the bride & groom into the Chesapeake Ballroom to "I Don't Want To Live On Mars" by Ziggy Marley and then toasts and an incredible meal provided by Catering by Uptown followed. Parents dances took place as dinner was wrapping up and then the newlyweds danced for their first time as Mr. & Mrs. to Bill Withers and Grover Washington's "Just The Two Of Us". This past Friday evening, Nena & Tim tied the knot at the Maryland Zoo's Mansion House & Lakeside Pavilion. An elegant ceremony that featured a live version of Etta James's "At Last" performed by a family friend and some sweet vows was followed by a cocktail hour in the Mansion House were guests were joined by the zoo's unique cast of animal ambassadors. Classic jazz and a mix of "Rat Pack" selections filled the air during cocktails and dinner. We introduced the new Mr. & Mrs. Gray into the reception to Cake's "Love You Madly" and then they danced their  traditional first dance to "L-O-V-E" by Nat King Cole. Lindsey & Nick celebrated their marriage last night at Mountain Branch Golf Club in Joppa, MD. High school sweethearts, Lindsey & Nick attended Edgewood High together and after 20 years they tied the knot! It was the first event inside Mountain Branch's beautiful new hillside tented ballroom that features an incredible view of the golf course and the surrounding rolling hills. After guests enjoyed an hour of drinks and served hors d'oeuvres we introduced the bridal party and then the newlyweds into their first dance, "Over And Over Again" by Nathan Sykes & Ariana Grande. Toasts, blessing, dinner and parents dances followed before we opened up the party with "Drink To That Tonight" by Jarrod Nieman & Pitbull. Lexi & B were married and celebrated yesterday at Linganore Winery in Mount Airy, MD. It was a beautiful, but blustery day and despite the winds Lexi & B said their vows on a lush hillside overlooking the winery's 70 acres of vineyards. Lexi's brother officiated the ceremony making it all that more special. After folks enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres we officially introduced the bridal party into the reception barn. The newlyweds danced to an acoustic version of Sam Smith's "Latch" for their first dance before the best man and maid of honor raised their glasses to toast them both. Once everyone made their way through the buffet we invited the bride and her father to the dance floor for the father/daughter dance. You could feel the energy in the air last night! Jennifer & Carl became a married couple at The Maryland Zoo's Mansion House and 80+ family and friends gathered with them to celebrate. A ceremony that featured live music and some of the sweetest wedding vows we've ever heard preceded the party. Cocktail hour featured members of the Zoo's family of fury friends dropping in, drinks, good eats (provided by Innovative Gourmet Catering) and some pretty cool tunes that were carefully selected by the Bride & Groom. The reception continued as we introduced Jennifer & Carl to the dance floor for their first dance, Al Green's "Let's Stay Together". Jennifer then danced with her Father to "Daughters" by John Mayer followed by Carl and his Mother dancing to Ben Harper's version of "Beautiful Boy". The 2016 wedding season continued last night as Kyra & Alex became husband and wife at the Maryland Zoo's Mansion House. Their ceremony featured readings from the bride & groom's siblings and friends as well as a live musical performance. The newlyweds are world travelers and their music selections reflected that with a mix of classic Brazilian and traditional jazz for cocktails and dinner. The good people from The Pantry Catering wined and dined everyone while the Zoo's staff introduced them to some amazing creatures. Some advice and words of wisdom from Alex's father preceded the meal and then Kyra & Alex danced to Marc Anthony's "Vivir Mi Vida". The 2016 Wedding Season officially started last night! Summer & Michael were married and celebrated with their friends and family at The Antrim 1844 Country House Hotel in Taneytown, MD and it was amazing! Mr. & Mrs. Kim said "I do" in the ballroom and then an incredible meal and celebration followed. Summer & Michael's first dance as husband and wife was to "Take My Hand (The Wedding Song)" by Emily Hackett and Will Anderson. The Antrim's staff was top-notch (as always) and we enjoyed working with Justin of Justin Kunimoto Photography. More then anything we loved playing for such a receptive and fun group of guests! Congratulations to Jeanna & Brian Hanley! We were honored to be a part of their big day at Bulle Rock Resident's Club yesterday in Havre de Grace, MD. They became Mr. & Mrs. Hanley as they were led through their vows by their friend Mark Patrick. We loved working with Dean and Brown Catering again as they worked diligently to transform the Resident's Club into a beautiful reception area while guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. We introduced the parents of the Bride & Groom and of course Mr. & Mrs. Hanley into the reception to "It Had To Be You" by Harry Connick Jr. and then Jeanna & Brian danced their first dance to "Giving It All (To You)" by Hailey & Michaels. We absolutely loved playing for Rebecca & Justin and their family and friends last night at the Vandiver Inn located in Havre de Grace, MD! A beautiful ceremony was followed by drinks and good eats during cocktail hour. After we introduced Mr. & Mrs. Matoska and their Bridal Party into the reception, they danced their first dance to Frank Sinatra's "The Best Is Yet To Come". Parents dances and toasts preceded an amazing buffet meal and before we knew it guests were up and grooving. We opened up the dancing portion of the evening with "I Love You More Today Then Yesterday" by Spiral Staircase. Lots of classic songs kept folks of all ages dancing all night long.
