Lexi & B were married and celebrated yesterday at Linganore Winery in Mount Airy, MD. It was a beautiful, but blustery day and despite the winds Lexi & B said their vows on a lush hillside overlooking the winery’s 70 acres of vineyards. Lexi’s brother officiated the ceremony making it all that more special. After folks enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres we officially introduced the bridal party into the reception barn. The newlyweds danced to an acoustic version of Sam Smith’s “Latch” for their first dance before the best man and maid of honor raised their glasses to toast them both. Once everyone made their way through the buffet we invited the bride and her father to the dance floor for the father/daughter dance. Unbeknownst to Lexi & most guests, Lexi’s father had a surprise up his sleeve. About one minute into their dance the music “accidentally” stopped abruptly. That’s when the flashmob consisting of the entire bridal party broke into a choreographed dance set to a medley of songs. The dance floor opened to all guests and stayed packed for the rest of the night! Music from artists such as Outkast, Calvin Harris & Rihanna, The B-52’s, Nelly and many more were requested and kept the energy level high. An amazing celebration wrapped up with all couples joining the newlyweds for one last dance to Haley Reinhart’s cover of “Can’t Help Falling In Love”. Beautiful venue, a great group of family and friends and a lovely Bride and Groom made for a unforgettable evening. Congratulations to Lexi & B!
