We had so much fun working with Christy & Andrew! Their wedding and reception last night was a culmination of months of planning and the end result was awesome! The Maryland Zoo’s Mansion House hosted the celebration that started with a ceremony featuring classical selections and a recessional too “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” by the Beach Boys.

Cocktails hour followed the ceremony and a cute little penguin (one of the Zoo’s Animal Ambassadors) joined everyone as they enjoyed appetizers and drinks. Shortly after, they found their tables and seats and DJ Frank Marsden formally introduced the Bridal Party in while playing “You’re My Best Friend” by Queen and then the newlyweds to “What I Like About You” by the Romantics. Their first dance was next and Christy & Andrew selected a cover of “Baby I’m Yours” by Arctic Monkeys. Toasts by the Maid of Honor and Best Man and a buffet meal preceded a welcome by the Father of the Bride and the first dancing song of the night; “Shut Up and Dance” by Walk The Moon.

The final chapter of last night’s party was all about cake and dancing! Songs by artists like Don Omar, House of Pain, Lizzo, P!nk, Van Morrison, ABBA, and more had the Zoo’s dance floor packed all night long! There was a cake cutting to “Love You Madly” by Cake, a last dance to “Closing Time” by Semisonic, and a sparkler send off for the happy couple.
