Rachel & Nick’s Wedding + Reception / Liriodendron Mansion

The historic Liriodendron Mansion in Bel Air, MD, was built in 1898, and was the summer residence of Dr. Howard A. Kelly, one of the four founding physicians of Johns Hopkins Hospital. Sold to Harford County in the late 1970s, the mansion now operates as a historic, cultural, educational, and recreational facility. Rachel & Nick choose the Mansion for one of the biggest days of their lives. Their wedding day began with a ceremony on one of the Mansion's porticos. This wasn't "Plan A", but because of passing thunderstorms, "Plan B" was put in to place and it turned out wonderfully. The Bride processed to a version of Canon in D, and the newlyweds recessed to Vivaldi's "Spring". Nicole & Robert’s Wedding + Reception / Maryland Zoo’s Mansion House

Saturday night at the Maryland Zoo, Nicole & Bob united in marriage at the Zoo's historic Mansion House. Just after 5 pm, the Groom and the Bride's Father (and officiant) guided the bridal party and processed up the aisle to an instrumental version of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling In Love". The Bride's processional was to an instrumental version of Dan + Shay's "Speechless". The ceremony was relaxed, funny at times, and an absolute joy to watch! Following a kiss and a formal presentation of the married couple, Stevie Wonder's "Signed Sealed Delivered" filled the air and the Bridal Party recessed and made their way to the front porch of the Mansion House. Natalie & Brian’s Wedding + Reception / Maryland Zoo’s Mansion House

Last night's wedding + reception was nearly perfect in every way. The festivities for Natalie & Brian's big day at the Maryland Zoo's Mansion House began with a ceremony at 5:15 led by Officiant Bill Duffy. The music of Alexi Murdoch was played for the processional selections and Natalie Cole's "This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)" was played for the recessional. Guests followed the Bridal Party to the front hallway of the Mansion House following the ceremony to enjoy cocktails and appetizers and to meet the Zoo's Animal Ambassadors. Heather & Joe’s Wedding + Reception / Maryland Zoo’s Mansion House

Last night's wedding + reception was a wonderful as the couple who got married! Heather & Joe became husband and wife at the Maryland Zoo's Mansion House in Baltimore and then celebrated their love. As the temperatures began to drop, guests made their way inside the Mansion House for the ceremony that was officiated by the Bride's Stepfather. The processional song for the entire Bridal Party was Daniel Jang's version of John Legend's "All of Me". Vows were exchanged and sealed with a kiss, Heather & Joe were formally introduced as Mr. & Mrs. Poole and then they recessed to Toploader's cover of "Dancing In The Moonlight". What a great party! Staci & Scott's wedding reception last night at the Maryland Zoo's Mansion House was so much fun. Their ceremony featured the Bride's Sister as the Officiant and a processional to "Christmas Canon" by the Trans Siberian Orchestra. After a formal presentation and a kiss, Mr. & Mrs. Johnston recessed to "Best Day Of My Life" by American Authors. Cocktail hour took place on the front enclosed porch of the Mansion House where guests enjoyed a wonderful spread of appetizers and cocktails and had the opportunity to meet two of the Zoo's Animal Ambassadors; a skunk and a penguin. Bonnylin & Matthew’s Wedding + Reception / Maryland Zoo’s Mansion House

Bonnylin & Matthew were already Mr. & Mrs. Vanwinkle, they've been married for months. Saturday night at the Maryland Zoo's Mansion House, they renewed their vows and celebrated their marriage with a lively reception. Their ceremony began just after 5 pm with music for the Bridal Party & the Bride's recessional provided by the band Sigur Rós and a recessional to "The Throne Room" from Star Wars. Cocktails and appetizers were served and passed by the staff from Dean and Brown Catering and enjoyed by all. The Zoo's Animal Ambassadors stopped by for a visit during cocktail hour and shortly after, DJ Frank Marsden invited guests to find a seat, gathered the Bridal Party, and formally introduced them into the reception. Kelly & Akasha’s Wedding + Reception / Maryland Zoo’s Mansion House

Kelly & Akasha are now Mr. & Mrs. Purohit! Last night at the Maryland Zoo's Mansion House they had their ceremony and reception. Guests began arriving around 5 pm for the 5:45 ceremony and enjoyed an early cocktail "half-hour" prior to finding their seats. Parents and Bridal Party members entered the ceremony to "Passenger Seat" by Death Cab For Cutie and Kelly's processional was to an piano version of the Foo Fighter's "Everlong" by Elevator Sky. The married couple recessed to "Beautiful Day" by U2 and then enjoyed a true cocktail hour with their families, friends, and some of the Zoo's Animal Abassadors.
