Christy & Andrew’s Wedding & Reception / Maryland Zoo

We had so much fun working with Christy & Andrew! Their wedding and reception last night was a culmination of months of planning and the end result was awesome! The Maryland Zoo's Mansion House hosted the celebration that started with a ceremony featuring classical selections and a recessional too "Wouldn't It Be Nice" by the Beach Boys. Cocktails hour followed the ceremony and a cute little penguin (one of the Zoo's Animal Ambassadors) joined everyone as they enjoyed appetizers and drinks. Shortly after, they found their tables and seats and DJ Frank Marsden formally introduced the Bridal Party in while playing "You're My Best Friend" by Queen and then the newlyweds to "What I Like About You" by the Romantics. Elizabeth & Robert’s Wedding + Reception / Maryland Zoo

The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore is a wonderful and very unique venue for a wedding celebration. Last night, Elizabeth & Robert and their families and friends enjoyed a magical evening there. Their ceremony featured string quartet selections and a recessional to The Cure’s “Just Like Heaven”.  Cocktails and appetizers were enjoyed during the following hour and one of the Zoo’s Animal Ambassadors stopped by. Following cocktail hour, guests were invited to their seats for formal introductions. Each couple walked in to a specific song and Elizabeth & Ryan selected “Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns N’ Roses for their grand entrance. Maria & Martin’s Wedding + Reception / Maryland Zoo

Saturday night at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, Maria & Martin got married. They selected film scores from the 13th Warrior and Pirates of the Caribbean for their ceremony music and recessed to "Love Song" by Witherspoon. Cocktail hour took place in the front hallway of the Zoo's Mansion House. Guests enjoyed appetizers and drinks and were visited by one on the Zoo's Animal Ambassadors before finding their tables and seats for the reception. The Bridal Party members and Martin & Maria were formally introduced to their seats while "We Own The Night" by Rev Theory was played. Toasts and a buffet line meal followed introductions. The newlyweds danced to "Theme of Love" from Final Fantasy IV for their first dance, and were then joined by their family members and danced to "Celebration" by Kool & The Gang to open up [...]

Kristen & Jonathan’s Wedding + Reception / Antrim 1844

Labor Day, best day for Kristen & Jonathan! These two love birds said "I do" to each other, kissed, and sealed the deal during their ceremony at the Antrim 1844 yesterday in Taneytown, MD.  The Antrim's formal garden was the perfect setting for the beginning of a great day. Cocktails were enjoyed inside and outside following the ceremony and soon after, guests were invited into the Antrim's glass-enclosed pavilion for the dinner and the reception. DJ Frank Marsden formally introduced the Bridal Party in while playing "Crazy In Love" by Beyonce & Jay-Z then played "From The Ground Up" covered by Caleb & Kelsey for the Bride & Groom's first dance. Patti & Adam’s Wedding + Reception / Maryland Zoo’s Mansion House

Mazel Tov to Patti & Adam! They got married last night at the Maryland Zoo's Mansion House. The ceremony began at 6 pm with the bride being walked down the aisle to an acoustic guitar version of "Here Comes The Sun" by The Beatles and a recessional to an orchestrated version of "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away". Cocktails, appetizers and a visit from one of the Zoo's animal ambassadors all took place after the ceremony in the front hall of the Mansion House. Later on, DJ Frank invited guests to their seats before introducing the Bride & Groom as they danced their first dance together as husband and wife to "Strangers" by the Kinks. Salads, a served meal, welcome speeches by both of the newlywed's parents, toasts by the Maid of Honor and the Best Man preceded parents dances. [...]

Margaret & Don’s Wedding + Reception / Rockfield Manor

So much love! Margaret & Don's celebration at Rockfield Manor in Bel Air, MD was the best. At 2 pm their ceremony took place outside and featured string quartet selections and Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" as the recessional. Cocktails and appetizers were enjoyed by all before they found their seats for dinner. Toasts by the Bride's Daughter and the Best Man preceded the buffet meal provided by Dean and Brown Catering. Everyone was invited to gather around the dance floor after that for Margaret & Don's first dance as husband and wife to "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran feat. Beyonce. A great party followed with the newlyweds friends and family members filling the dance floor and jamming out to songs by the Village People, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Guns N' Roses, Darius Rucker, Aretha Franklin, and many more. Arielle & Byron’s Wedding + Reception / Pond View Farm

Saturday's celebration at Pond View Farm was off the charts kind of fun! Arielle & Byron invited some really awesome guests and the party was amazing! It all started with with an outdoor ceremony that featured string quartet selections and a recessional to "Marry You" by Bruno Mars. Cocktail hour took place under Pond View's outdoor pavilion and was followed by formal introductions of the Bridal Party into Pond View's barn. DJ Frank Marsden brought parents in while playing Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", Bridesmaids and Groomsmen entered to T-Pain's "I'm Sprung, and the new Mr. & Mrs. Dodson made their grand entrance into the reception to "Born To Love You" by Lanco. Sherae & Bernard’s Wedding + Reception / La Banque de Fleuve

Two of the sweetest people we've ever had the chance to work with became husband and wife yesterday. Congratulations to Sherae & Bernard Brooks! Their big day took place at La Banque de Fleuve's Seaplane Base along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay in Havre de Grace, MD. The ceremony included the Bride's processional to Eric Benet's "Spend My Life With You" and a recessional to "Wifey" by Next. Cocktails and appetizers were enjoyed by all after the ceremony and were followed by a formal introduction of the Bridal Party and newlyweds. Bridesmaids and Groomsmen walked into the reception to "I Found Love"  by Bebe Winans and Mr. & Mrs. Brooks entered to "When God Gave Me You" by Vernon Jones. A first dance to "Best Part" by Daniel Caesar (feat. H.E.R.) preceded a buffet meal provided by the nice folks [...]

Anna & Kevin’s Wedding + Reception / Maryland Zoo’s Mansion House

The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, MD is such a unique venue for a wedding and reception. Anna & Kevin held their ceremony at the Zoo's Lakeside Pavilion and their reception at the Zoo's Mansion House Saturday evening. The ceremony featured a processional of the Bride to "We Bought A Zoo" by Jonsi and a recessional to Jack Johnson's "Better Together". Guests found their way to the Mansion House for following the ceremony and  enjoyed cocktails, served appetizers, and a visit by two of the Zoo's Animal Ambassadors. Next up, guests were invited to their seats for the  introduction of the Bridal Party and the Bride & Groom. AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" was played while DJ Frank made formal introductions and "Stand By Me" by Ben E. King was played for Anna & Kevin's first dance as a married couple. Salads and a buffet [...]

Rachel & Nick’s Wedding + Reception / Liriodendron Mansion

The historic Liriodendron Mansion in Bel Air, MD, was built in 1898, and was the summer residence of Dr. Howard A. Kelly, one of the four founding physicians of Johns Hopkins Hospital. Sold to Harford County in the late 1970s, the mansion now operates as a historic, cultural, educational, and recreational facility. Rachel & Nick choose the Mansion for one of the biggest days of their lives. Their wedding day began with a ceremony on one of the Mansion's porticos. This wasn't "Plan A", but because of passing thunderstorms, "Plan B" was put in to place and it turned out wonderfully. The Bride processed to a version of Canon in D, and the newlyweds recessed to Vivaldi's "Spring".
