Saturday’s celebration at Pond View Farm was off the charts kind of fun! Arielle & Byron invited some really awesome guests and the party was amazing! It all started with with an outdoor ceremony that featured string quartet selections and a recessional to “Marry You” by Bruno Mars. Cocktail hour took place under Pond View’s outdoor pavilion and was followed by formal introductions of the Bridal Party into Pond View’s barn. DJ Frank Marsden brought parents in while playing Queen’s “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, Bridesmaids and Groomsmen entered to T-Pain’s “I’m Sprung, and the new Mr. & Mrs. Dodson made their grand entrance into the reception to “Born To Love You” by Lanco. They danced their first dance as a married couple to an acoustic version of K-Ci & JoJo’s “All My Life” performed by the Groom’s Best Man. A welcome by Arielle’s Father preceded a delicious buffet meal put together by the Pond View Pit Crew. Toasts by the Matron of Honor and Best Man, a Father/Daughter dance to Jimmy Buffet’s “Little Miss Magic”, and a dance shared by the Groom and his Grandmother to “That’s What Mamas Do” by Jason Matthews all took place before a 3 hour dance party began. Songs by artists like Black Eyed Peas, Ja Rule, Drake, Outkast, Nelly, Walk The Moon, Notorious B.I.G., Missy Elliot, and many more did the job and had Pond View’s dance floor packed until the end. Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline” had them all singing along as they said goodbye and boarded the shuttle buses back to the hotel. Thanks to Pond View Farm’s friendly staff, the ladies with Carrie D Photography, and the new Mr. & Mrs. Dodson for a wonderful Saturday night in White Hall, MD.
