Two of the sweetest people we’ve ever had the chance to work with became husband and wife yesterday. Congratulations to Sherae & Bernard Brooks! Their big day took place at La Banque de Fleuve’s Seaplane Base along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay in Havre de Grace, MD. The ceremony included the Bride’s processional to Eric Benet’s “Spend My Life With You” and a recessional to “Wifey” by Next. Cocktails and appetizers were enjoyed by all after the ceremony and were followed by a formal introduction of the Bridal Party and newlyweds. Bridesmaids and Groomsmen walked into the reception to “I Found Love” by Bebe Winans and Mr. & Mrs. Brooks entered to “When God Gave Me You” by Vernon Jones. A first dance to “Best Part” by Daniel Caesar (feat. H.E.R.) preceded a buffet meal provided by the nice folks with T&M Catering. Following dinner, DJ Frank Marsden invited guests to the patio area of the venue for the Brides dance with her two daughters to “A Song For Mama” by Boyz II Men and then a dance party for all. Songs by artists like Al Green, Charlie Boy, DJ Casper, Ella Mai, Jagged Edge, Jill Scott, Montell Jordan, and many more had folks dancing throughout the evening. A cake cutting to K-Ci & JoJo’s “All My Life” and a bouquet toss to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” took place before the evening wrapped up. Thanks to La Banque de Fleuve’s staff, the team with T&M Catering, Kevin Ewing Photography, the ladies with Affairs Extraordinaire by Marta, Essex Florist, Desserts by Rita, Wine World, and the new Mr. & Mrs. Brooks for a wonderful evening!
