Mazel Tov to Patti & Adam! They got married last night at the Maryland Zoo’s Mansion House. The ceremony began at 6 pm with the bride being walked down the aisle to an acoustic guitar version of “Here Comes The Sun” by The Beatles and a recessional to an orchestrated version of “You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away”. Cocktails, appetizers and a visit from one of the Zoo’s animal ambassadors all took place after the ceremony in the front hall of the Mansion House. Later on, DJ Frank invited guests to their seats before introducing the Bride & Groom as they danced their first dance together as husband and wife to “Strangers” by the Kinks. Salads, a served meal, welcome speeches by both of the newlywed’s parents, toasts by the Maid of Honor and the Best Man preceded parents dances. The Bride and her Father danced to John Carpenter’s “More I Cannot Wish You” from the Guys and Dolls Musical Soundtrack and Adam and his Mother danced to “Jambalaya” by Hank Williams. The hora dance to Dick Dales’s version of “Hava Nagila” followed and then the party really began. Folks danced to songs requested by the Bride & Groom from artists like the Cure, David Bowie, Bell and Sebastian, Michael Jackson, Queen, Jimmy Cliff, and many more that had the dance floor filled with good energy. We enjoyed working with the ladies with Heather Frable Photography, the Zoo’s Crew, and Hunt Valley Catering. All the best to Patti & Adam!
