Cindy & Melissa’s Wedding + Reception at The Vandiver Inn

Last night Cindy & Melissa were married at The Vandiver Inn. The weather in Havre de Grace was picture perfect for these two amazing ladies to say "I do". Following the ceremony guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails inside the Vandiver Mansion. Bridal party introductions were followed by a first dance to "I Choose You" be Sarah Bareilles and then they both danced with their fathers to Heartland's "I Loved Her First". Dinner was presented in three different stations. Cindy & Melissa decided to avoid the usual wedding formalities and just have a party. Their friends and family grooved to hits by Madonna, The Cure, The Beastie Boys and sets of Motown classics just to name a few. Stephanie & James Wedding + Reception at The Vandiver Inn

Mr. & Mrs. Cole tied the knot and celebrated by throwing a party with their friends and family last night at The Vandiver Inn. A beautiful ceremony was complimented by a light snow fall. Guests were wined and dined by The Vandiver staff and then grooved to the classics. Motown, Funk and just a splash of Top 40 Hits kept this group dancing throughout the night. Stephanie & James danced their first dance as a married couple to "Old Fashioned" by Cee Lo Green and ended the night with John Legend's "Stay With You". The party didn't end after the last dance as guests joined Mr. & Mrs. Cole for an afterparty at MacGregors. It was a classy and fun night in Havre de Grace last night. Congrats to the newlyweds!

Maryclaire & Mostafa’s Reception at The American Visionary Museum

Last night's Bride & Groom were married last year so most of the usual wedding formalities were passed up in favor of a great meal and an even better party at The American Visionary Art Museum. Maryclaire & Mostafa along with their family and friends just wanted to celebrate their love and enjoy the evening with their favorite people. Cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and an amazing meal were provided by my friends at Rouge Catering. Music for the cocktail hour was a mix of jazz and arabic selections while the newlyweds danced their first dance to Pink Martini's "Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here". The dance floor was packed from the first dance song to the last. Guests grooved and sang along to music from The Beatles, Earth Wind & Fire, Tom Petty, Pitbull and more. Donna Summer's "Last Dance" wrapped up the dancing [...]

Amber & Chris’s Wedding + Reception at The Vandiver Inn

It sure was a great way to start the 2015 wedding season! Last night Amber & Chris became Mr. & Mrs. Steel in Havre de Grace at The Vandiver Inn. The ceremony was followed by cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, dinner and then...the party! The bride and groom and their VIPS were introduced into the reception to "Shut Up And Dance" by WALK THE MOON. That was followed by Amber & Chris's first dance as husband and wife: "I Don't Dance" by Lee Brice. An incredible meal was provided by the Vandiver staff and then guests cut a rug to 80's classics, 90's hip hop and just a bit of country music. A packed dance floor all night long led to an after party at MacGregor's. Great night with fun people. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Steel!

Beth & Tim’s Wedding + Reception at The Vandiver Inn

Last night was another magical night at The Vandiver Inn. Beth & Tim said "I do" and became the new Mr. & Mrs. Tourville. A small, intimate ceremony was held in the parlor and then the reception followed in the newly renovated, warm and comfortable pavilion. Mr. & Mrs. Tourville danced to "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds for their first dance as a married couple. Dinner followed their dance and as usual, Chef Susan knocked it out of the park! The bride & groom were big fans of music from the 80's and 90's so we heard hits from artists like Incubus, Tears For Fears, Huey Lewis & The News and more. Semisonic's "Closing Time" wrapped up a great party. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Tourville!

Katherine & Randy’s Reception at The Lord Baltimore Hotel

Kat & Randy became Mr. & Mrs. Bielski on Valentine's Day! Their reception at The Lord Baltimore Hotel was a celebration of their love and an amazing party. After an introduction of the bridal party to "The Charleston", the bride & groom danced with their parents and then had their first dance as a married couple to Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years". Dinner was provided by Classic Catering and memories were captured by Sach's Photography. Lots of Top 40 hits filled the air and guests packed the dance floor. A snowy, Valentine's Day wedding in Charm City for Mr. & Mrs. Bielski...congratulations!

Katelyn & Brad’s wedding + reception at The Cloisters Castle

Last night was my last wedding of 2014 and it was a great way to end the year and a great season. Katelyn & Brad became husband and wife and then celebrated their vows with a party for their friends and family at The Cloisters Castle in Lutherville. The Cloisters was in full Christmas mode and so was this reception. Holiday tunes filled the air for cocktails and for dinner followed by a first dance to Izrael Kamakawiwo'ole's version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". After we opened up the dance floor folks grooved to hits from Avicii, David Guetta and Pitbull to name just a few. Hunt Valley Catering knocked it out of the park with their food service and Photographers Mary Ellen Otter & Danny James captured every dance, smile and memory. Good times last night. Charmaine & Scott’s reception at The Tea Barn at Fair Hill

Last night's wedding reception for Charmaine & Scott at The Tea Barn at Fair Hill in Elkton, MD was just about perfect! The evening begin with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the lower barn area then we moved upstairs for the party. The newlyweds danced their first dance as a married couple to a cover of Bruce Springsteen's "If I Should Fall Behind" by Jonah Matranga. An amazing vegan meal was provided by Miss Rachel's Pantry followed by lots of dancing! Music request from artists like Steve Earl, Three Dog Night and New Order just to name a few got guests up and grooving. Cassandra & James’s wedding + reception at The Vandiver Inn

That was one great party! Last night Cassandra & James became Mr. & Mrs. Bryant at The Vandiver Inn in Havre de Grace and it was magical. As always, The Vandiver Inn was the perfect location and backdrop for love and happiness to be celebrated. There was such good energy in the air last night and that stemmed directly from the bride and groom. After cocktail hour the newlyweds made their grand entrance into the main pavilion to David Bowie's "Modern Love" and then went into their first dance, Otis Redding's "These Arms Of Mine". The party was extended by an hour so we had lots of time to dance. Music requests ranged from The Dropkick Murphys to Frank Sinatra. Melissa & Michael’s wedding + reception at The Mansion at The Valley Country Club

Friday night Melissa & Michael exchanged vows and then celebrated with a party at The Mansion at The Valley Country Club in Baltimore. A short and sweet ceremony was followed by cocktails and then an amazing meal. Mr. & Mrs. Pfisterer danced their first dance as a married couple to Kenny Chesney's "You Had Me At Hello" and then an all out dance party followed. I loved how the night ended as we went the country route with sing a long songs by Alabama, Old Crow Medicine Show and Garth Brooks. Great vibes all evening long for this happy couple.
