Tuesday night’s wedding “yes, Tuesday night” was picture perfect! Two very sweet people became Mr. & Mrs. Mark Alexander. Sue & Mark said “I do” to each other on the lawn overlooking the Chesapeake Bay at Swan Harbor Farm in Aberdeen, MD. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds made their way to the water’s edge with Photographer Alissa Ramsey of Ramsey’s Photography for sunset shots. Guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers on the back patio of the farmhouse before moving to the tented reception area for introductions, toasts, a blessing and a phenomenal meal provide by Sunny Day Cafe. Sue & Mark danced their first dance to Tony Bennett’s version of “Fly Me To The Moon” and then we opened up the dance floor and spun requests by artists such as Marvin Gaye, Dion, Credence Clearwater Revival, The Big Bopper, Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson, Joe Cocker, The Kinks and more. We slowed things down for an anniversary dance, inviting all married couples to join Sue & Mark to dance to Jerry Vale’s “Al Di La” followed by Tony Bennett’s “The Very Thought Of You”. As the reception came to and end we played Sha Na Na’s version of “Goodnight Sweetheart” and all couples joined Sue & Mark to celebrate not only their wedding night, but the anniversary of their first date. Thumbs up to the nice people at Sunny Day Cafe, Ramsey’s Photography, Terri Myers-Gillis of Norma’s Bouquet and the Swan Harbor staff for a job well done. We thank the newlyweds as well for trusting us to be such a big part of their wedding day!
