Lauren & Adam’s wedding & reception yesterday at Pond View Farm in White Hall, MD was nothing short of amazing! Their outdoor ceremony ended with a kiss, a formal introduction as Mr. & Mrs. Peterson and with Keith Urban’s “Somebody Like You” playing as the recessional. Cocktails and appetizers were enjoyed by guests while Photographer Wes Bunton & our friends from Wise Films spent some time with the newlyweds. DJ Frank introduced Parents and Lauren & Adam into Pond View’s beautiful barn/ballroom to Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars “Uptown Funk” before playing their first dance; Russell Dickerson’s “Yours”. A welcome by the Bride’s Stepfather, a blessing, salads and a toast by the Maid Of Honor/Lauren’s Sister, Olivia preceded a buffet meal provided by Chef’s Expressions Catering. As the last few tables made their way through the buffet line, Adam’s Best Man, Austin toasted the happy couple and then Lauren danced with her Stepfather to Bruce Springsteen’s “When You Need Me”, Adam and his Mother danced to “The Perfect Fan” by Backstreet Boys followed by the Bride and her Father’s dance to “I Loved Her First” by Heartland. They were joined by about 150 guests on the dance floor when “Love Shack” by The B-52’s started and DJ Frank opened up the dancing portion of the celebration. Songs by Montell Jordan, Wild Cherry, Outkast, Elvis Presley, and multiple sets of Motown tunes kept a really fun crowd entertained throughout the evening. A cake cutting to James Taylor’s version of “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You”), a bouquet toss to “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls and a garter toss to “Sharp Dressed Man” by ZZ Top all happened as well. Before a sparkler send off and a spectacular fireworks display, family and friends joined Lauren & Adam for a slow dance to Ray LaMontagne’s “You Are The Best Thing” and finally a sing a along to “Friends In Low Places” by Garth Brooks. Last night was wonderful in so many ways, from Lauren & Adam’s fun loving and laid back approach to working with some top notch vendors, we enjoyed it all! We appreciate, congratulate and wish the new Mr. & Mrs. Peterson a life time of love and great music.
