Alyssa & Matt’s family farm in Hampstead, MD was the setting for their ceremony and reception. Everything about yesterday’s celebration was pretty amazing. Guests gathered around the pond located right next to the reception area as Alyssa & Matt became Mr. & Mrs. Shiflett on the pier. The Bridal Party entered to The Piano Guys version of “A Thousand Years” while the Bride walked in to “Giving It All (To You) by Haley & Michaels. A kiss sealed the deal and Zac Brown Band’s “Loving You Is Easy” filled the air for the recessional. Guests enjoyed cocktails, appetizers and a meal served up by DJ’s Catering & Services. Andy Grammer’s “Good To Be Alive (Hallelujah)” was played as DJ Frank introduced the Bridal Party and Alyssa & Matt to the dance floor and a first dance to “Soulmate” by Josh Turner followed. A blessing by the Bride’s Uncle and toasts by the Best Man and Maids of Honor preceded dinner. Matt and his Mother danced to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Simple Man” and Alyssa & Dad went next and many joyful tears were shed as they danced to “Cinderella” by Steven Curtis Chapman. The dance floor filled up quickly and remained that way for the rest of the night as songs by ABBA, Justin Timberlake, Ghost Town DJs, Big & Rich, The Beatles, DNCE and more were requested and played. We enjoyed working with K.Rainier Photography again and really appreciate the referral. The ladies from Celebrating Love By Marcie did an outstanding job with every aspect of yesterday’s festivities and we can’t thank them enough for their kindness and professionalism. Alyssa & Matt’s big day was a one of our favorites of the year and we wish them so much happiness and love!
