Amanda & Kellen’s wedding took place last night along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay in Annapolis, MD. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Philip Merrill Center was their venue of choice and it was a great place to get married and celebrate! Around 5:45 pm, guests made their way down to the beach to find their seats and then Kellen, his officiant, and groomsmen walked into the ceremony to “Ends Of The Earth” by Lord Huron followed by Amanda’s processional to Fleetwood Mac’s “Songbird”. There were some wonderful vows, a kiss, an official presentation, and then they were Mr. & Mrs. Ruhl. The happy couple recessed to “Be The One” by Haerts and their Bridal Party and guests followed them to the Center’s tented deck for cocktails and appetizers. DJ Frank Marsden was there to compliment the good vibes and keep the evening flowing smoothly. He lined up and introduced the Bridal Party into the Center’s Conference Room while playing “We Are Family” by Sister Sledge for the Parents, Van Halen’s “Jump” for the Bridal Party and “Something Just Like This” by the Chainsmokers feat. Coldplay for the newlyweds. Toasts by Kellen’s Best Man, Amanda’s Man of Honor, and a blessing preceded a delicious buffet meal provided by the crew from Zeffert and Gold Catering. After cutting the cake, guests were invited back out to the tented deck for Amanda & Kellen’s first dance; “In Your Eyes” by Peter Gabriel. The remainder of the celebration was a dance party to remember! Guests of all ages were jamming out to songs by Whitney Houston, The Beatles, Will Smith, Prince, Flo Rida, Prince, ABBA, Journey, and many more. “Take Me Home Tonight” by Eddie Money capped off an awesome reception. We loved playing at such a beautiful and unique venue, working with our friends with Zeffert and Gold Catering, and making some new friends in the ladies from Amy Raab Photography. Congratulations to Amanda & Kellen, you two Ruhl!
