Great couple, unique venue, eclectic music, food, drinks and so much fun! Lily & Jesse's wedding + reception yesterday at The Elm in Hampden was hands down one of my favorites of 2015. From the ceremony prelude to the very last song, everything was just about perfect. The Beatles Abbey Road album in it's entirety greeted guests as they found their seats for the ceremony. After saying "I do", the bride & groom led their friends and family inside for cocktails and great eats provided by Clementine Restaurant of Baltimore. Once inside guests got a look at this one of a kind venue. Built in the 19th century, Hampden’s mills led sales for the nation’s cotton duck-canvas for tents and sailcloth. Last night Christina & Eric became Mr. & Mrs. Lindblad at The Mansion at the Valley Country Club in Baltimore. This beautiful Mansion is owned and run by the Donovan family and is renowned for its unique sports bar that highlights celebrity and sports memorabilia from the Donovans in the Boxing Hall of Fame and The National Football Hall of Fame. After the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres served up by the Mansion's friendly staff. The Lindblads and their bridal party were introduced into the reception to Flo Rida's "GDFR" and then Christina and Eric slowed it down for their first dance as a married couple to Ray LaMontagne's "You Are The Best Thing". Last night at The Maryland Zoo's Mansion House in Baltimore, Kate & Steven got married! The Mansion House was were they held both their ceremony as well as the reception. During cocktails the Zoomobile stopped by with a few furry friends to congratulate the newlyweds. One little penguin also left them a surprise (see photo)! Kate & Steven are fans of The Beatles and their first dance and last songs reflected that. "Don't Let Me Down" by The Beatles was their selection for their first dance. Following that guests enjoyed drinks and an exceptional meal provided by Laurrapin Grille Catering. Dancing followed with songs by artists such as Rick Astley, Prince, MKTO and Michael Jackson. Ms. Stengle & Mr. Weisbrot became Mr. & Mrs. Weisbrot yesterday at The Maryland Yacht Club in Pasadena, MD. This intimate venue is located at the mouth of Rock Creek and features a grand view of the Patapsco River. After a ceremony overlooking the water Kim & Mitch along with their family and friends enjoyed cocktails and eats served up by the Club's super friendly staff. "History In The Making" by Darius Rucker was Mr. & Mrs. Weisbrot's selection for their first dance. Requests for songs by artists like Billy Joel, Simon & Garfunkel, Pink as well as Walk The Moon kept guests happy and grooving all night. Congratulations to Lauren & Jason! They became Mr. & Mrs. Cox last night at The Vandiver Inn located in Havre de Grace, MD. Ceremony + cocktails + party = FUN at The Vandiver! My co-workers last night included Leah Rhianne Photography, Desserts by Rita, Amanda's Florist and the Vandiver's hard working and friendly staff. We kicked off the reception with a grand introduction of the newlyweds and their bridal party right into "Mean To Me" by Brett Eldredge for their first dance. Music requests included songs by Huey Lewis & The News, Chris Brown, Elvis Presley and The Sugar Hill Gang. It was a smaller group with about 80 guests and I'm fairly sure all of them were on the dance floor for the majority of the night. It was a beautiful night in Joppa to get married! Athena & Paul did just that yesterday at Mountain Branch Golf Club. After they said "I do" the drinks and hors d'oeuvres were flowing! Live music for cocktail hour was provided by Trio Caliente and was followed by the bridal party and the bride and groom's grand entrance into the reception to "Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars. Mr. & Mrs. Morevac danced their very first dance as a married couple to "I Don't Dance" by Lee Brice while photographers from Bradley Images captured it digitally. Friends, not clients...that how I felt working with Katie & Ben to plan their big day and yesterday was it! The Vandiver Inn located in Havre de Grace was where it all happened. After saying "I do", Mr. & Mrs. Ginn along with their favorite people enjoyed cocktails and munchies provided by The Vandiver's amazing staff. I introduced Katie & Ben for the first time as a married couple and they danced their first dance to "Buddy" by Willie Nelson. Everyone enjoyed a superb meal put together by Chef Susan and then...we danced...a lot! We stayed away from the usual Top 40 hits, but rather played tunes from artists such as Old Crow Medicine Show, The Killers, Tom Petty, Eddie Money and more. Stevensville on Maryland's Eastern Shore was the setting for Amy & Nick's ceremony and reception yesterday at The Kent Manor Inn. It was a beautiful day to get married as Mother Nature smiled down upon us and good vibes filled the air. After the groom's father married the happy couple, guests were treated to a magnificent cocktail hour on the back lawn of the Inn. Mr. & Mrs. Hallis and their bridal party made their grand entrance into the reception to Mark Ronson & Bruno Mar's "Uptown Funk" and followed that up with a first dance to "I Love You This Big" by Scotty McCreery. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Elloff! Katie & Mark were married and celebrated with their favorites yesterday at Rockfield Manor in Bel Air, MD. The weather Gods were smiling on us all weekend and yesterday was an exceptional day to tie the knot. Following an outdoor ceremony, guests enjoyed eats and drinks provided by Atlantic Catering. The bridal party's grand entrance was followed by the newlyweds first dance to Ellie Goulding's version of "Your Song". Parents dances, toasts and dinner preceded the dancing and once they started dancing they never stopped! Lots of classics kept the dance floor packed with tunes by The Rolling Stones, The Blues Brothers, George Clinton as well as The Clash, Ray Charles and The Pogues filling the air. Last night Angela & Brian celebrated their nuptials at The Waverly Mansion in Marriottsville, MD. This historic mansion was home to Governor Howard in the 1700's and provides an elegant wooded setting with beautiful gardens. Guests enjoyed the picture perfect weather with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres outside before heading into the tented area for the reception. The bride and groom entered the reception along with their parents and bridal party and then had their first dance as Mr. & Mrs. Frazee to Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud". During dinner Angela's sorority sisters and the Brian's fraternity brothers both took turns serenading the bride and showered her with flowers.
