Saturday in Havre de Grace, MD, Eileen & Michael where joined as husband and wife and had a party to celebrate their journey. The Vandiver Inn was the perfect venue for Mr. & Mrs. Wood and their tribe of about 80 family members and friends. The ceremony began at 4 pm in the side yard of the Inn with classical selections for the processionals and a recessional to “Regulate” by Warren G feat. Nate Dogg. Cocktails inside the Mansion followed and preceded the gathering of guests to the Inn’s outdoor covered pavilion and formal introductions of the Bridal Party. DJ Frank Marsden played “It Takes Two” by Rob Base & EZ Rock while announcing Eileen & Michael’s grand entrance then played “Low” by Grace Potter for their first dance. Toasts by the Maid of Honor & Best Woman and a wonderful served meal occurred before Eileen & her Father danced to Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” and Michael danced with his Mother to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts. At some point the happy couple cut their cake, but honestly it was a blur because there was so much dancing! Songs by artists such as Pitbull, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, T-Pain, The Beatles and many more kept last night’s party crowd grooving for two hours straight! We loved being back at the Vandiver and working with their wonderful staff. We also enjoyed working with the nice folks with Michael Crawford Photography, Desserts by Rita, and Richardson’s Flowers & Gifts. All the best to Mr. & Mrs. Wood!
