This afternoon we wrapped up a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend at the Vandiver Inn along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay in Havre de Grace, MD. Today Liz & Mike became Mr. & Mrs. McQuarrie under the Inn’s outdoor pavilion and then enjoyed a celebration of their love with their friends and families. Cocktails and appetizers in the Vandiver’s Mansion House followed the nuptials. DJ Frank was on hand to start the reception as Liz & Mike were introduced as husband & wife into their first dance; “It Started With A Beer” by Frankie Ballard. A welcome toast by Liz’s Father and toasts by the Maid Of Honor and Best Man preceded a delicious buffet meal. As guests finished up dinner, the Bride and her Father danced to Gary Allan’s “Tough Little Boys” then Mike & his Mother danced to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts. The cake cutting was kept low key, but the party throughout the rest of the evening was off the hook! We loved watching guests sing and dance to songs by Tag Team, Journey, John Denver, V.I.C., Nelly, The Killers and many more! Before walking downtown to the Laurrapin Grille for their after party, Liz & Mike and their favorite people circled up for the last song of the night, Darius Rucker’s “Wagon Wheel”. Thanks to the Vandiver Staff for making it all run smoothly, Desserts by Rita for an amazing cake and to the ladies from J. Lowe Photos for capturing all the fun and memories.
