Emily & John are now Mr. & Mrs. Machovec! This happened yesterday evening and the celebration that followed was at Liberty Mountain Resort/Boulder Ridge Lodge in Carrol Valley, PA. Folks enjoyed cocktails and appetizers as they arrived and then DJ Frank introduced the Bridal Party in to the Lodge’s Ballroom to the theme from “Jurassic Park” by John Williams and Mr. & Mrs. Machovec to the theme from “Game Of Thrones” by Ramin Djawadi. Their first dance took place after introductions and their song was “The Luckiest” by Ben Folds. A welcome by Emily’s Father, toasts by the Matron of Honor and Best Man and a blessing preceded salads and a served meal. A cake cutting to “Heaven” by Bryan Adams wrapped up dinner and was followed by Emily and her Father’s dance to Heartland’s “I Loved Her First”. John and his Mother danced to “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King, the single ladies joined the Bride on the dance floor for the bouquet toss and then the newlyweds came together for an apron dance to Jackie Wilson’s “(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher And Higher” and “You Make My Dreams Come True” by Hall & Oates. A mix of sing a long hits, a bunch of fun 80’s tunes and a few classic love songs for some slow dancing kept the Lodge’s dance floor filled. Requests for songs by artists such as Huey Lewis & The News, Michael Jackson, Natalie Imbruglia, House Of Pain, The Righteous Brothers, Bon Jovi and many more helped DJ Frank create a live party mix to remember! The Machovec’s celebration wrapped up with “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey and a sparkler send off to “Born To Run” by Bruce Springsteen. It was a wonderful, magical evening and quite the party.
