We love September weddings and last night’s celebration was no exception. Emily & Marlon became Mr. & Mrs. Usher with a ceremony and reception at the beautiful Liriodendron Mansion in Bel Air, MD. Reverend Laura Cannon of Ceremony Officiants married Emily & Marlon as family members and guests joined them on the back lawn of the Mansion House. Following a kiss and a formal presentation, everyone enjoyed cocktail hour inside and outside of the Mansion while the Bridal Party had photos taken. Later on, DJ Frank Marsden invited everyone inside for the newlyweds first dance as Emily & Marlon selected “Tangled Up In You” by Staind. After that, folks moved out to the back patio to find their seats for formal introductions¬†of the Bridal Party. “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire was played while Parents, Bridal Party members, and Mr. & Mrs. Usher were introduced to their seats. They and everyone else then enjoyed an amazing served meal provided by the nice people with Water’s Edge Events Catering before coming back in for the dancing portion of the night. Emily and her Mother opened things up with a dance together to “Shining Star” by Earth, Wind & Fire, Marlon and his Mother danced their dance to Louis Armstrong’s “What A Wonderful World”, and then “Twist & Shout” by the Beatles helped fill up the dance floor. Songs by artist like Usher, Will Smith, Bruno Mars, Aretha Franklin and many more had the Liriodendron’s dance floor bumping! We loved the vendor team last night; Coordinator Cynthia Hegenhahn with Events By I Did It By Myself, Laura Cannon with Ceremony Officiants, Stacey Bowen Floral Design, Wise Films, Water’s Edge Catering, Cakes By Jason, White Glove Rentals, and the Magic Selfie Mirror. It was a happy Friday for the new Mr. & Mrs. Usher!
