The sun came out yesterday and Erica & Danny got married! Sunday in historic Ellicott City, at the beautiful Main Street Ballroom, Erica & Danny became Mr. & Mrs. Wizzman and then celebrated their marriage with a reception. Just after noon, the happy couple said their vows to each other, took a shot of whiskey, and then chased that with a recessional to “Loving You Easy” by Zac Brown Band. Everyone enjoyed cocktails and appetizers inside and outside of the Ballroom while photographer Sara Vars of Sara Vars Photography snapped photos of the Bride & Groom’s families and friends. DJ Frank Marsden gathered the Bridal Party and introduced each couple to various songs, and introduced Erica & Danny formally into the reception to “The Walker” by Fitz & the Tantrums. Their first dance was next and they danced to Frankie Ballard’s “It All Started With A Beer”. After everyone found their seats, the Bride’s Maid of Honor and the Groom’s Best Man both raised a drink to toast the newlyweds before Erica & Danny’s Fathers each welcomed and thanked guests for being a part of the big day. Zeffert and Gold Catering and Event Planning opened up a fabulous buffet meal that people were raving about, and as the last table finished their meals, Erica and her Father shared a dance to “Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder. DJ Frank invited all parents and their children to join the Bride and her Father and then opened up the dance floor for all guests. Songs by artists like Young MC, Walk The Moon, Rod Stewart, The Romantics, V.I.C. and more kept the energy level high and the dance floor full all afternoon. We took a break for a cake cutting, cupcakes and homemade donuts about midway through the celebration, and wrapped up the day with everybody circled around the Bride & Groom singing along to Old Crow Medicine Show’s “Wagon Wheel”. It was a wonderful way to bring the weekend to a close with sunshine, good tunes, yummy food and fun people! Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Wizzman!
