It sure was a good to day to be Gabrielle & Rob Scott! They got married today and then celebrated their love with friends and family at Top of The Bay located on Aberdeen Proving Ground. Guests arrived just before 1 pm and the bridal party was introduced shortly after. One of my favorite moments today was introducing the Bride and Groom’s Grandmothers as the “Flower Grandmas”! After a wonderful buffet meal Gabrielle and Rob made it “reception official” with a first dance to Matthew Mole’s “Wedding Song”. The Bride danced with her Father after that followed by a Mother/Son dance to the same song the Groom’s Mother danced with her Father to at her own wedding! Thoughout the afternoon guests grooved to songs by artists like Andy Grammer, The Beatles, Silento as well as Ben E. King and Dexy’s Midnight Runners to name just a very few. A set of traditional Greek music for the brides family brought members from both families together on the dance floor. We wrapped up a perfect Saturday afternoon wedding celebration with The Proclaimers “I’m Gonna Be (500 Mile)”. It was an honor to be the DJ/MC for Gabrielle’s sister and brother-in-law a few months ago and even more so to be asked to do it again for Mr. & Mrs. Scott. Congratulations to a wonderful couple and to two very nice families!
