Hollin & Dan’s Wedding + Reception / Vineyard of Mary’s Meadows

The first day of Autumn 2018 was the best day ever for Hollin & Dan! The two love birds exchanged vows, rings, and kisses and then celebrated their relationship in Darlington, MD at the Vineyard of Mary’s Meadows. The Bride’s Uncle served as the officiant for the wedding, the Bridal Party walked down the aisle to “Love Someone” by Jason Mraz, The Bride entered to Train’s “Marry Me” and then she and her husband recessed to “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) by Natalie Cole. Cocktails in the lower part of the Vineyard’s barn followed with and incredible spread of appetizers while a mix of folk, bluegrass, indie, and other genres of music filled the air. DJ Frank Marsden invited everyone to the upper area of the barn for the rest of the evenings festivities before formally announcing Hollin & Dan into their reception while playing “You Look Good” by Lady Antebellum. The Bride’s Father and two of her Uncles performed live for the newlyweds first dance prior to welcome speeches by the Father of the Bride and her Stepfather. Our good friends with Dean and Brown Catering served a delicious meal to everyone, two of Hollin & Dan’s good friends raised a toast to them during the dinner and then the dancing portion of the night began with parent dances. The Bride and her Father started things off with a dance to Louis Armstrong’s “What A Wonderful World” and then she danced with her Stepfather to “When You Need Me” by Bruce Springsteen. Dan and his Mother shared a dance to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts and then all guests were invited to the dance floor and the party began with “Happy” by Pharrell Williams. The new Mr. & Mrs. Van Buren cut their cake and a wonderful dessert bar was enjoyed by all. Songs by artists like Backstreet Boys, Kesha, Walk The Moon, The Killers, Michael Jackson and more had the party crowd jamming throughout the night. An incredible day of love, laughter, and lifelong memories wrapped up with a group sing-a-long to “New York, New York” by Frank Sinatra and a sparkler sendoff. We loved working with Hollin & Dan and wish them all the best on their journey together. Thanks to a great team of vendors as well; the Vineyard Staff, the crew from Dean and Brown Catering, and the ladies with Marlayna Photography.
