Jennifer & Boyd became the new Mr. & Mrs. Elliot yesterday at the Maryland Zoo’s Lakeside Pavilion and Mansion House. Their ceremony at the Lakeside Pavilion featured Disney themed music and Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” as the recessional. After that guests made their way to the Mansion House for cocktails and were greeted by the zoo’s cast of animal ambassadors. We introduced Jen & Boyd into their reception to “Everything Is Awesome” by Tegan and Sara as the reception had a Lego them to it (check out the cake picture below!). A first dance to Louis Armstrong’s “A Kiss To Build A Dream” followed introductions and half way through the dance, the bride’s son and the groom’s daughters joined the newlyweds. A parents dance and a toast by the best man preceded an outstanding buffet meal provided by our friends at Dean and Brown Catering. We enjoyed working with the ladies from Majestic Wonders Photography as they captured the festivities. An eclectic mix of music by artists such as Wilson Picket, George Strait, The Jackson 5, Cupid and more were requested by guests and played throughout the night. Jennifer & Boyd’s big day wrapped up musically with “Last Dance” by Donna Summer. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Elliot and thanks for having us!
