Last night at the Maryland Zoo’s Mansion House Katie & Kyle got married and celebrated with a reception for their family and friends. The evening got under way at 5 pm with the ceremony and that was followed by a cocktail hour. As usual at the Zoo, some furry resident friends stopped by to say “hi” and wish the newlyweds lots of love. Instead of a grand entrance, Katie & Kyle chose to toast their guests and thank them. A family style meal was provided by the Pantry Catering and then Mr. & Mrs. Moreau danced their first dance to “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” by Meghan Trainor & John Legend. The children in attendance were treated to an “animal toss” as Katie’s bridesmaids tossed stuffed animal toys out to each of them and there was also a young lady providing face painting and caricatures. The adults were busy getting their groove on to hits by The B-52’s, Silento, Flo Rida, Mark Ronson and more. Sara Fletcher and the ladies from Nouvelle Weddings helped us in coordinating the flow of events and did an amazing job! Photographer David Champagne did his thing and captured some memories. We ended Mr. & Mrs. Moreau’s big day with Andy Williams Christmas classic “It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year” before slipping in one last dance for the Bride and her Father as they danced to “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” by Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwoʻole. We thank to Katie & Kyle for trusting us to help create their vision and wish them both all the best and a lifetime of marital bliss.
