They became Mr. & Mrs. Clift last night at the Vandiver Inn. Katie & Mike chose the Vandiver in Havre de Grace, MD because they said it was classy and laid back. Their reception was classy and super fun! Following their ceremony in the Inn’s pavilion, folks enjoyed libations and yummy eats during cocktail hour. The Inn’s staff turned the ceremony space into an awesome reception area and then DJ Frank formally introduced Katie & Mike and their Bridal Party to Montell Jordan’s “This Is How We Do It”. The newlyweds danced to “Thank You” by Led Zeppelin for their first dance before cutting the cake and thanking their friends and family. A buffet meal was followed by toasts by the Maid & Matron of Honor and two Best Men. Katie and her father then danced to “I’ll Be There For You” by Boyce Avenue and Mike danced with his Mother to Seven Mary Three’s version of “That’s How Strong My Love Is”. The final two hours of the evening was a party! Folks grooved to hits by Michael Jackson, Queen, House Of Pain, Eddie Money and more. Before heading to the Laurrapin Grill Restaurant for their after party, everyone joined Mr. & Mrs. Clift for a final dance to “I’ve Had The Time Of My Life” by Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes.
