Saturday night at the Maryland Zoo’s Mansion House in Baltimore, MD, Kim & Jason became Mr. & Mrs. Lanoue! Their big day began with a ceremony and the Bride making her way down the aisle to Billy Idol’s “White Wedding”! Officiant Bill Duffy then walked Kim & Jason through the ceremony, their vows and asked them to kiss to seal the deal. A cocktail hour followed the recessional with the Zoo’s Animal Ambassadors making their rounds and guests enjoying drinks and appetizers. DJ Frank Marsden formally introduced the Parents of the newlyweds into the reception while playing “Don’t Fear The Reaper” by Blue Oyster Cult, the Bridal Party walked in to The Beatles “With A Little Help From My Friends”, and then Mr. & Mrs. Lanoue were introduced into their first dance song, Ben E. King’s “Stand By Me”. After their dance, Jason’s Best Man and Brother offered a toast to the happy couple as did Kim’s Sister and a few others. Jason’s Father then said a blessing before our friends with Zeffert and Gold Catering and Event Planning opened up an amazing buffet meal. Following dinner, Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I’m Yours” got the dancing portion of the night started and guests flocked to the dance floor and kept it packed throughout the reception. Requests by artists such as Modern English, Michael Jackson, Spice Girls and many more were played and enjoyed. A cake cutting to DNCE’s “Cake By The Ocean” gave folks a chance to refuel before enjoying the rest of the celebration. The last dance to Semisonic’s “Closing Time” wrapped up a magical evening and a sparkler sendoff out front of the Mansion House capped it off. Thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Lanoue for having us! We wish you a lifetime of love, happiness, delicious food and great tunes!
