Last night was one of the best celebrations we’ve ever had the pleasure of being a part of! Lauren & Frank along with their friends and families were a festive, fun group to entertain. The party/reception took place at Waters Edge Event Center along the Bush River in Belcamp, MD. The evening began with cocktails and appetizers inside and outside the venue along with a few games of cornhole and music provided by Miriam’s Joy. That was followed by introductions of the Bridal Party and the new Mr. & Mrs. McGovern by DJ Frank. He played Bon Jovi’s “Born To Be My Baby” for the Bridal Party and then Lauren & Frank walked in to Pink’s “Raise Your Glass” and danced their first dance as husband and wife to “Say You Won’t Go” by James Arther. Lauren danced with her Father to “You’re The Inspiration” by Chicago and Frank with his Mother to “What A Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong.  Toasts by Lauren’s Father, Frank’s Best Man, two of Lauren’s Bridesmaids and a blessing preceded an delicious served meal. The party really got going after playing Earth Wind & Fire’s “September” and the hits kept coming! DJ Frank fielded requests for artists like Michael Jackson, Nelly, Madonna, Right Said Fred, Jason Derulo, Bruce Springsteen and more. All the fun was captured by our friends from Linton Photography and Editing Life Videography while guests also enjoyed some photo booth fun with Elevation Party Rentals. About halfway through the party, guests watched the Bride & Groom cut the cake and enjoyed mini cupcakes provided by Flavor Cupcakery. Each side of the family had a representative do a sing-a-long. The Cassidy family sent Uncle Rich to the dance floor to belt out “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond and the McGovern family was represented by “Big Ed” as he sang “Mack The Knife” by Bobby Darin. We wrapped up the celebration with “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston into “Firework” by Katy Perry before inviting everyone outside for a sparkler send off. Thanks go out to Lauren & Frank and their wonderful families and to the Waters Edge Staff and all the great vendors we worked with last night. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. McGovern!
