Everything about yesterday’s wedding & reception was just about perfect. Two awesome ladies celebrated their love at Irvine Nature Center in Owings Mills, MD. Marian & Melissa were married by Marian’s Father in one of the open meadows located on the nature center’s 116 acres. Guests made their way back to the nature center’s covered tent for drinks and hors d’oeuvres and a tapas style meal provided by Eat & Smile Catering. Toasts by several family members preceded the first official dance of the night, Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel”. We invited all guests to join the happy couple on the dance floor and kept them there with some awesome requests by artists such as The Mavericks, Barry White, John Mellencamp, Outkast and many more. Marian & Melissa chose to keep their reception simple and fun by avoiding the usual traditions and typical formal events. Instead, they wanted a party and that’s what they got! We are so happy for Marian & Melissa and we loved playing for such a fun and easy going group of guests.
