Last night’s Bride & Groom were married last year so most of the usual wedding formalities were passed up in favor of a great meal and an even better party at The American Visionary Art Museum. Maryclaire & Mostafa along with their family and friends just wanted to celebrate their love and enjoy the evening with their favorite people. Cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and an amazing meal were provided by my friends at Rouge Catering. Music for the cocktail hour was a mix of jazz and arabic selections while the newlyweds danced their first dance to Pink Martini’s “Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here”. The dance floor was packed from the first dance song to the last. Guests grooved and sang along to music from The Beatles, Earth Wind & Fire, Tom Petty, Pitbull and more. Donna Summer’s “Last Dance” wrapped up the dancing for the night and then everyone sang along to John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” as they made there way out the door. A festive night it was in Baltimore City, congratulations to Maryclaire & Mostafa!
