Michelle & Nick became Mr. & Mrs. Havrilla yesterday at the Vandiver Inn located in Havre de Grace, MD. Cocktails and appetizers were served inside the Vandiver Mansion as guests arrived. That was followed by an introduction of the bridal party and the newlyweds into the Inn’s wonderful outdoor pavilion. Michelle & Nick then went directly into their very first dance as a married couple. They danced to “Falling Slowly” by Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova. A Polish blessing by the Bride & Groom’s Mothers followed the first dance. Other highlights of the evening included a 10 minute Apron Dance and lots of folks grooving on the dance floor. Musically requests for songs by artists like Roy Orbison, Michael Jackson, Kid Rock, Queen and others filled the air. After a last dance to Frank Sinatra’s “The Way You Look Tonight” guests followed the Bride & Groom downtown to McGregor’s Restaurant for an after party. Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Havrilla!
