That was a great party! Last night we celebrated with Paige & Alex at the Vineyard of Mary’s Meadows in Darlington, MD. A 4 pm ceremony behind the Vineyard’s barn featured a processional of the Bridesmaids and the Bride to “Parallel Line” by Keith Urban and a recessional to “Loving You Easy” by the Zac Brown Band. Cocktails and appetizers were available to everyone in the lower part of the barn following the ceremony and prior to DJ Frank Marsden inviting guests upstairs for dinner. Formal introductions of the Bridal Party were made as Fergie’s “A Little Party Never Hurt Nobody” was played and before a first dance by the new Mr. & Mrs. Hinder to “Best Shot” by Jimmie Allen. Toasts by the Father of the Bride, Matron of Honor, and Best Man as well as a blessing preceded a buffet line meal provided by Mission BBQ. After dinner and before everyone moved back downstairs for the rest of the reception, the Bride and her Father danced their Father/Daughter dance to “Golden Years” by David Bowie and Alex and his Mother followed with a dance to “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)” by James Taylor. The newlyweds cut their cake, guests enjoyed dessert, and the rest of the night was a party! Songs by artists like; Black Eyed Peas, Cardi B, Rolling Stones, LFMAO, Big & Rich, and lots more kept the barn rocking until 10 pm and a last dance to “Sax” by Fleur East. Thanks to our friends and the owners of Mary’s Meadows for always hosting great parties, Tyler the photographer from Scratch Studios, the Mission BBQ Crew, Stacy Bowen Floral Design, and most importantly to Paige & Alex for allowing us to be a part of their big day.
