Saturday in Phoenix, MD, Rachel & Jeff became Mr. & Mrs. Barnes! It was a simply gorgeous day for an outdoor celebration. The ceremony began at 4:30 with Rachel’s processional to Train’s “Marry Me”. Following their vows, a kiss, and their formal introduction as husband and wife, Rachel & Jeff recessed to “Do You Believe In Magic” by The Lovin’ Spoonful. Guests then enjoyed cocktails, appetizers, and the opportunity to check out some incredible classic automobiles that were on display. DJ Frank Marsden invited everyone to their seats before introducing the Bridal Party into the reception. He played “You Make My Dreams” by Hall & Oates for the Bridal Party and “Still Fly” by Big Tymers for Mr. & Mr. Barnes and followed that with Rachel & Jeff’s first dance; “Feels Like Home” by Chantal Kreviazuk. Toasts by family friends preceded a delectable buffet meal provided by the nice folks from Beefalo Bobs. Not long after dinner wrapped up, Rachel surprised her Mother by dedicating and dancing with her to Celine Dion’s “Because You Loved Me”. Jeff danced with his Mother after that to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts and then the dance floor was opened up to all guests. Between dance sets to songs by artists such as Bon Jovi, DJ Casper, Gloria Gaynor, Etta James, Kenny Loggins and more, a cake was cut and desserts were enjoyed. There was also an Anniversary Dance that brought all married couples out for some slow dancing and as the last hour of the celebration began, the Bride tossed her bouquet to the single ladies as DJ Frank played “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper. A last song to Eddie Money’s “Take Me Home Tonight” lead us to a sparkler send off and a wonderful ending to an amazing day of love and good times. Thanks to our friends from Be Photography, Editing Life Videography, the Beefalo Bobs crew and to the new Mr. & Mrs. Barnes for a great wedding day!
