Congratulations to Samantha & Ryan who became Mr. & Mrs. Lucas yesterday! They were married and celebrated their commitment at The Vandiver Inn located on Main Street in Havre de Grace, MD. The team of vendors included Friendly Entertainment, Thomas Graves Photography, Deserts by Rita, Amanda’s Florist and of course the top notch staff at the Inn. Following the ceremony guests were wined and dined inside the Vandiver Mansion before making their way to the Inn’s pavilion for dinner and a party. Ryan is a composer and musician and he wrote and recorded the first dance for he and his wife to dance their first dance to as a married couple. Another highlight of the evening was the bride dancing with her father to “The Rainbow Connection” (the original Kermit The Frog version!). A great selection of music was requested by the newlyweds and included songs by artists like The Meters, The Jackson 5, Outkast and Parliament to name just a few. Before heading out for the after party guests joined Mr. & Mrs. Lucas for one last dance to “The Piano Has Been Drinking” by Tom Waits. It was a funky, music filled ceIMG_2230lebration of love and we enjoyed being a part of the magic!
