Rain? No worries. Although the weather yesterday wasn’t exactly perfect for a wedding day, Brittany & Vince’s wedding day was perfect despite what Mother Nature had planned. Havre de Grace, MD and The Vandiver Inn was the perfect destination spot for Mr. & Mrs. Salamone’s celebration. Following the ceremony held in the Inn’s outdoor pavilion, guests joined the bridal party inside the Vandiver Mansion for cocktail hour. The party started with the introduction of Brittany & Vince and their VIPS and was followed by a first dance by the Bride & Groom to John Michael Montgomery’s “Home To You”. Chef Susan then fed guests with an incredible two course meal that folks with be talking about for a while. Brittany danced with her Father and Vince did the same with his Mother as the meal wrapped. Vince and his Mom started their dance with John Mayer’s “Gravity” before surprising the crowd and jumping into “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars.  After parents dances we dove right into a two hour dance set, stopping only to cut the cake and for a non-traditional apron dance. Classics by Dion, The Foundations, Barry White, The Sugar Hill Gang and more were requested by guests along with newer hits by artists like Jason Derulo, Maroon 5 and Flo Rida. One of our favorite parts of the evening was watching Photographers Brea and Jennifer of Photography by Brea getting their groove on along with the guests as they captured all the fun and memories. There were two cakes provided by Deserts by Rita, one for the guests and a groom’s cake in the shape of a guitar! Flowers by Amanda’s Florist complimented the Inn’s decor. Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” was our official last dance, but Elton John’s “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” unofficially ended a great night as the Bride is a huge fan of Disney’s Lion King movie. We loved seeing everyone circled up and singing along as we wrapped up an incredible party. We can’t thank Mr. & Mrs. Salmone enough for having us and we wish them a lifetime of love and happiness!
