The Vineyard of Mary’s Meadows in Darlington, MD was where Jess & Greg decided to say their vows and celebrate with their favorite people and last night. Mary’s Meadow was originally a 156 acre farm, featuring structures that date back to the mid-1700’s. The Bride’s family purchased the farm in the early 1900’s and in 2014 her Mother & Father along with their family partnered with their friends to rebuild the barn on one of the oldest stone foundations in the area. The barn features two beautiful levels and following the ceremony and cocktails held in the lower level of the barn, we invited guests upstairs for the bridal party introductions, formal dances, toasts, blessing and the meal provided by Dean and Brown Catering. For introductions the groom and his groomsmen made a quick change from formal outfits to individual Avenger’s costumes! After that Jess & Greg aka the new Mr. & Mrs. Taylor danced their first dance to Chris Young’s cover of “Change The World” originally performed by Eric Clapton. Dinner wrapped with a cake cutting and then we encouraged everyone to head back downstairs for the celebration! The music mix featured everything from classic country to hip hop and more. Songs by artists like David Allen Coe, Zac Brown Band, Luke Bryan and Eric Church as well as DMX, House of Pain and The Notorious B.I.G. kept everyone singing and dancing into the early morning. We were scheduled to end at 11 pm however, this crowd wanted more so we didn’t stop the music until 12:30 am! Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Free Bird” was the perfect way to end a great party and send off the Bride & Groom. We loved every part of last night, Jess & Greg, their families and the venue. Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Taylor!
