Last night Mary & Terry said "I do" and then celebrated with their friends and family at Baltimore's Star-Spangled Banner Flag House. Built in 1793, the Flag House was once the home and business place of Mary Pickersgill, who sewed the garrison flag Francis Scott Key witnessed flying over Fort McHenry that inspired him to write our national anthem. The reception began with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres served by the staff of Uptown Catering inside the Flag House Museum and games of cornhole on the front lawn. Introductions of the bridal party and Mr. & Mrs. Thorgramson into the museums's upper ballroom followed with the Groom's seven year old son introducing the newlyweds. Last night's wedding at the Vandiver Inn was so much fun! Crystal & Ryan became Mr. & Mrs. Dunkerly led by Reverend Simmone of Ceremony Officiants. Cocktail hour inside the Vandiver Mansion followed the ceremony and the reception/party came next. We introduced the bridal party and the newlyweds into the Vandiver's outdoor/covered pavilion and then we had an official first dance for the bride & groom to "Sleeping At Last" by Turning Page. We enjoyed working with Photographer Sara Kimble as she captured everything from the ceremony to the guests grooving to hits by Pitbull, Avicii, Don Omar, The Sugar Hill Gang and more. Other then cutting and enjoying some magnificent cakes provided by Desserts by Rita, Crystal & Ryan along with their guests danced all night long! Last night's wedding felt like a Saturday night party! Alyssa & Kyle became Mr. & Mrs. Jensen at the Vandiver Inn located in Havre de Grace, MD and they, along with their family and friends brought the energy. Officiant Heather Saul led Alyssa & Kyle through their vows and after saying "I do" the newlyweds joined their guest for cocktails and appetizers inside the Vandiver Mansion. After we introduced the bridal party and the Bride & Groom, Alyssa danced with her Father to Frank Sinatra's "The Way You Look Tonight" and halfway through the song Kyle stepped in. We then went into their first official dance which was Ray LaMontagne's "You Are The Best Thing" and halfway through that song per the Bride & Groom's request we abruptly ended that song and mixed into "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" by Silento. Picture perfect! Melanie & Chuck's wedding + reception at The Hunt Valley Inn last night was pretty darn close to it. The newly renovated Inn looked wonderful, guests came prepared for a party and there was nothing but positive vibes in the air. Following the ceremony guests enjoyed a cocktail hour before the Bride & Groom and their bridal party were introduced into the ballroom. Melanie & Chuck chose "Head Over Feet" by Alanis Morissette for their first dance. Toasts, blessing and a stations meal came next. We opened up the dancing portion of the night with parents dances and then the bride & groom and the entire room danced to the Hora. What a great party! Rachel & Donald's wedding + reception last night at the Vandiver Inn was way more then your usual celebration. Guests came ready to eat, drink and dance! Following an outdoor ceremony officiated by their good friend J.R. Gregory, the new Mr. & Mrs. Spangler led their guests into the Vandiver Mansion for an hour of great eats and libations. We introduced the bridal party formally into the Vandiver pavilion for dinner and a party and the newlyweds made their grand entrance being escorted by their son Kellan to Slipknot's "Before I Forget". After introductions the groom's brother, the bride's best friend and the bride's sister offered up  unforgettable toasts for Rachel & Donald. The Vineyard of Mary's Meadows in Darlington, MD was where Jess & Greg decided to say their vows and celebrate with their favorite people and last night. Mary’s Meadow was originally a 156 acre farm, featuring structures that date back to the mid-1700's. The Bride's family purchased the farm in the early 1900's and in 2014 her Mother & Father along with their family partnered with their friends to rebuild the barn on one of the oldest stone foundations in the area. The barn features two beautiful levels and following the ceremony and cocktails held in the lower level of the barn, we invited guests upstairs for the bridal party introductions, formal dances, toasts, blessing and the meal provided by Dean and Brown Catering. Rain? No worries. Although the weather yesterday wasn't exactly perfect for a wedding day, Brittany & Vince's wedding day was perfect despite what Mother Nature had planned. Havre de Grace, MD and The Vandiver Inn was the perfect destination spot for Mr. & Mrs. Salamone's celebration. Following the ceremony held in the Inn's outdoor pavilion, guests joined the bridal party inside the Vandiver Mansion for cocktail hour. The party started with the introduction of Brittany & Vince and their VIPS and was followed by a first dance by the Bride & Groom to John Michael Montgomery's "Home To You". Our first wedding of the Fall of 2015 was amazing! Meghan & Michael became Mr. & Mrs. McMillion at Mountain Branch Golf Club in Joppa last night. After the outdoor ceremony overlooking the golf course the Bride & Groom along with their favorite people enjoyed cocktails and some yummy eats provided by the Mountain Branch staff. We introduced the bridal party into the reception and then Meg & Mike danced their first dance to Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years". Toasts, a blessing and a wonderful dinner followed then we blinked and the dance floor was packed. Hit songs from artists such as: Silento, 50 Cent, Rob Base, Mark Ronson feat. The Hotel Monaco is an elegant downtown landmark in Baltimore City and was the setting for Emily & Tim’s wedding reception last night. The bride and groom joined their family and friends for cocktail hour prior to their grand entrance to “Let’s Get Married” by Jagged Edge featuring Run DMC. The newlyweds danced their first dance to “Sideways” by Citizen Cope then toasts by the Bride’s Sisters and the Groom’s Brothers and some fun and loving words from Emily’s Father followed. We can’t say enough positive things about the Hotel’s friendly staff, beautiful interior and the meal they served. Guests from Maryland, New Jersey and upstate New York filled the dance floor making requests and grooving to hits by artists like Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Nelly, James Brown, Usher and many more. Yesterday Jennifer & Joe became husband and wife at the Cylburn Arboretum in Baltimore City. Their outdoor ceremony started off the evening and was absolutely beautiful. Officiant Kiko Garcia of Have Love Weddings did a wonderful job guiding the bride and groom through their vows and introducing them as a married couple. Guests made their way to the Vollmer Center for cocktails and the reception following the ceremony. Rouge Catering wined and dined guests prior to introductions of the bridal party and followed that with a buffet meal. "All Of Me" by John Legend was Jennifer & Joe's first dance. That was followed by a Father/Daughter dance and a Mother/Son dance and then Walk The Moon's "Shut Up And Dance" opened up the dance floor to all guests.
