Friday night in Forest Hill, MD, Colleen & Alex became a Mr. & Mrs.! Their 4 pm ceremony inside Stone Ridge Hollow’s barn was beautiful. It featured a processional to “Bloom” by the Paper Kites and a recessional to “Never Had Nobody Like You” by M. Ward & Zooey Deschanel. The lower portion of the barn at Stone Ridge features an amazing bar and that’s where everyone hung out and enjoyed cocktails while the ceremony space was transformed into a reception area. After cocktail hour, everyone returned upstairs for the remainder of the reception. Parents of the Bride & Groom were introduced in to “You Are The Best Thing” by Ray LaMontage, Bridal Party members to “Treasure” by Bruno Mars and finally the Bride & Groom made their grand entrance while “Baby I Love” by the Ramones was played. Colleen & Alex shared their first dance together as husband and wife to “Harvest Moon” by Neil Young before a welcome by the FOG, a buffet meal, and toasts by the Matron of Honor and both Best Men. DJ Frank Marsden invited the Bride and her Father to the dance floor for their dance; “Forever” by the Beach Boys and then Alex and his Mother danced to Stevie Wonder’s “As”. The first dance song of the night for everyone was “Funky Town” by Lipps, Inc. and that was followed by hits by artists like; Lizzo, The Commodores, Prince, the Rolling Stones, and lots more. Later on there was a cake cutting, a bouquet toss and a celebration to remember. Friday night’s reception ended with “Send Me On My Way” by Rusted Root into “Last Dance” by Donna Summer, and lots of hugs, smiles, and happy people. Thanks to the Stone Ridge Staff, Eleven Courses Catering, Dare Visuals Videography, and Colleen & Alex for a wonderful night!
