We spent Saturday at the Barn at Grimmel Farms in Jarretsville for Emily & Joey’s big day. Their outdoor ceremony took place at 4:30 pm just behind the barn and featured assorted soundtracks to some of the Bride & Groom’s favorite movies for the prelude, and live music for the ceremony. Following their formal presentation as husband and wife, Emily & Joey lead their families and friends to the barn for their reception. After guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers, the Bridal Party made their grand entrance in style, replicating a wedding scene from the show The Office with Chris Brown’s “Forever” as their music. Emily & Joey then danced their first dance together as Mr. & Mrs. Landgraf to “Annie’s Song” by John Denver. A blessing and toasts were made before a buffet line meal was enjoyed by all. Following dinner, Emily and her Father danced to “What A Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong, Joey and his Mother chose “Circle Game” by Joni Mitchell for their dance, a cake was cut, a bouquet was tossed, and then we partied! Songs by Capital Cities, Backstreet Boys, Blanco Brown, Outkast, PSY, Luke Bryan, and more had the Grimmel Barn rocking all night! The newlyweds were joined by all guests for a last dance to “The Time (Dirty Bit)” by the Black Eyed Peas before heading out for their after party. Congratulation to a two wonderful people who are now husband and wife!
