As the Wedding Season slows down and the Holiday Season begins, we have begun to reflect back on a wonderful year working with some amazing couples. Yesterday’s Bride & Groom, Mary Rose & David were one of the sweetest! La Banque de Fleuve in Havre de Grace, MD is such a unique venue, founded in 1883 and renovated in 2008, it was the perfect setting for last night’s celebration. The ceremony featured a processional for the Bride to “Someone’s Waiting For You” by Shelby Flint and a recessional for the newlyweds to “At Last” by Etta James. Guests had already been seated for the ceremony so all they had to do was wait for a moment before the brunch stations opened. After the meal, a toast was made by one of the Bride’s sons, Mary Rose & David danced their first dance together as husband & wife to “What I Really Want To Say” by Steven Curtis Chapman, and the dance floor was opened to all. Chris Janson’s “Good Vibes” kicked it off and then songs by Alan Jackson, DJ Casper, Bruno Mars, Jason Aldean, Paul Simon, Justin Timberlake, and many kept everyone up and grooving. There was a cake cutting to Old Dominion’s “Make It Sweet” and a last dance/sing-a-long to “Closing Time” by Semisonic before the evening ended. Sweet couple, wonderful celebration. Congratulations to Mary Rose & David!
