Mr. & Mrs. Smith’s wedding reception Saturday night at Stone Ridge Hollow in Forest Hill, MD was such a fun night! Following the ceremony, guests began arriving around 6 pm and gathered in the lower area of the Hollow’s Barn that features a stunning granite bar and outside on the Barn’s carved stone patio for cocktails prior to the reception. Later on, everyone moved upstairs for the remainder of the celebration. DJ Frank Marsden introduced the Bridal Party in while playing “Call On Me” by Starley and Lauren & Dan were introduced to “Truffle Butter” by Nicki Minaj feat. Drake & Lil Wayne. They danced their first dance next to Russel Dickerson’s “Yours” before Lauren’s Father welcomed everyone and her Uncle blessed the meal put together by our friends from Laurrapin Caters. After guests made their way through the buffet line, last night’s Maid of Honor and Best Man both raised a glass and made a toast to the newlyweds. A Father/Daughter dance to “It Won’t Be Like This For Long” by Darius Rucker, a Groom/Grandmother dance to “Grandma’s Garden” by Zac Brown Band, and a cake cutting to “Sugar” by Maroon 5 precede a incredible dance party that featured songs by Katy Perry, Neil Diamond, Rihanna, Tom Petty, Usher and many more and had the Hollow’s Barn rocking! A perfect night ended at Stone Ridge Hollow with a last song/sing-a-long to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing”, but continued with a late night after party off premise. We want to thank the staff of Stone Ridge Hollow, the crew with Lauren Nievod Photography, and the nice folks with Laurrapin Caters for an outstanding job and we congratulate the new Mr. & Mrs. Smith!
